    "Unable to complete version update. [30426] [19900] [740]"

    After the most recent patch I received this error after trying to launch the game through Steam. After some avail, I then tried to resolve this issue by reinstalling the game. This worked and I was able to log in. After playing for a while, I logged out and when I tried to log back in again it gave me the same error message. I don't wanna reinstall again. Is there any known fix for this issue yet?

    Good afternoon and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

    Were you using the Steam launcher before the patch or did you use the standard Windows launcher before? If it only started happening when using the Steam launcher, it there may be a configuration through Steam that is causing the issue. Make sure Steam is being run as administrator. Also double-check that your anti-virus has exceptions for Steam and the Steam install folder.
