In your character data folder, you'll notice file(s) called 000000001.log or something similar to that. These files save EVERYTHING that would normally show up in any of your 3-4 chat tabs. They record basically everything by default, but they won't record anything that you manually disable.
That being said, the game is still parsing the info to these log files even if manually disabling things; just not writing it to them. ACT reads the parsed battle data, does math, and then spits out a readable number. So if someone had extreme time and patience, they could dive into these log files, grab every numerical value they do for the entire encounter, and then do the math themselves, as the game is saving an entire record of you & your party.
