Unable to log in through Steam

I have purchased the game through Steam, as well as the expansions. My account is listed under the Steam account on the Mog station. However when I try to launch through Steam using the "Play" button, it tells me I am not registered. So, I get the windows client and attempt to launch through that. Same result, I am unable to play the game. I have attempted to use ffxivboot64.exe from the steam folder... and I still cannot play the game.

What exactly am I supposed to do in order to resolve this issue?

I am having the same issue. Service account is active, subscription is active, have all the expansions registered, the launcher keeps telling me my service is not active.
