Please implement a lottery for plots instead of spamming placards for hours

Please re-read where I stated people are idiots and you'd gain the reason why I call them so. You would also learn that me calling them idiots has nothing to do with their suggestions or recommendations.

By suggesting or recommending a different system to use, that would mean the current system is no longer functional (it is.) and requires to be removed and replaced. So you are indeed, saying to take away the timer. If you have any suggestions, go ahead and share with the class. If there is any issue with them, they will be discussed.

Again, your notion of me assuming everyone's an idiot is incredibly misplaced. As for "not thinking any of this through" then tell me. How does autoclicking give you an advantage? It doesn't let you bypass the RNG timer, it doesn't let you insta-buy it or break into the coding and force it to only accept you. You're just clicking faster. It doesn't speed up the RNG timer, it doesn't increase your odds. It just floods SE's side with requests that are suspiciously too fast for any human to register. Unless you know of someone that can click and bypass the UI loading timer (which is also random and partially dependant on your computer setup / connection to SEs servers!) and request a purchase every .01 seconds?

I'm not going to try and explain to you why clicking 100 times gives you higher odds of obtaining the property than clicking 20 times. I'm also not going to explain to you how human beings can get fatigued and robots cant. It really shouldn't be something I have to explain why a bot/macro has an advantage over a human.

No, this is not true. You keep trying to erect more and more strawmans but I'm not gonna let you do it. I never said take away the timer, and it's disingenuous for you to say that. I do think that this system needs to be changed, but how do you know that the "timer" part is what I wanna change? Because you're not interested in learning about my opinions. Like any automated process, it gives the advantage of being consistent and not having to pause. It can continue without having to stop for food, sleeping or bathroom breaks. It's also not wearing down your hands. It doesn't guarantee you get it, but the odds vs someone going about it manually are higher.

Sure. I'm wasting time by calling you out for your "concern trolling" and "strawmen". I wouldn't say you're a bad person, but you sure act like one. You're no victim, you have done nothing but claim people believe things that they don't and put words in their mouth, yet you're saying that I'M wasting time. The way you criticize people is very passive aggressive and irritating, and most of it is completely disingenuous and untrue, I've pointed out many examples of this.

It's because my actual criticisms are valid yet you're not willing to acknowledge it, so you come up with something random to show everyone that I'm actually the bad person even though it's NOT what I said. I've never once turned this into a "hatefest", that's how you see it because that's the kind of world that you constantly live in. At least it gives every people on a server a chance.
At the same time implement that people should use it. Stay off the game for x months and y our house is up for lottery again. Their things? throw it in to a server pit where they can fetch it ones they are back, and can try their luck ones more for a plot if they wish to.

The forums moderation is quite draconian here, just report them for the insults given and move on. Although watching you whip out the logic on Kenky was quite amusing to read, although it did slightly derail the point of this thread.

I know this will get me a lot of flac for saying, but I believe we should ditch the placard system and go with players buying and selling lots. Sure only the richest players would be able to afford it, but at least it's a tolerable goal (in my opinion) to strive for. What I would do to minimize house flippers is put a 60 day timer on being able to sell a home to another player after relocating or buying a property.

Edit: Also I would make the buying price after auto demolition the same price as the owner who bought it paid for it. Meaning if someone paid 25 million gil for a small from another player, then he lost his house months later. The person who bought the plot would need to pay 25 million to prevent making too much money house flipping.
