Remove 5% of MNK and BLM's rDPS.
3% of DRG's rDPS
That should do the trick.
I think they should just raise up the other DPS and call it a day.
To the people saying that they should bring higher DPS jobs in line with the lower DPS jobs to avoid content becoming too easy... wat?
1. Eden Savage is basically a done deal already. Nerfing jobs now will only ruin the experience of people who've already got it on farm and hinder people who are struggling with it.
2. When you raise the damage of the lower DPS jobs you only widen the pool of people able to clear it and also being able to play their favorite job.
3. Once you raise the damage you can balance future content around that new DPS level. So that avoids the "content becomes too easy" point. Basically only applies to old content that isn't important anymore anyway.
Who cares if old content becomes easier? Gives people more things to do to solo stuff in their free time.
Old content? Only a couple people has clear it, I wouldnt call eden savage oñd content
Good. That means the content is still hard despite people "filling their rosters" with "OP jobs" like DRG, MNK, BLM etc.
Raising the damage of the lower DPS jobs will only widen the selection of "OP jobs" and as you said the content is still hard enough that barely anyone has cleared it.
Basically some jobs are undertuned for current content if despite all these top jobs being "OP" barely anyone has cleared the hardest content. Being truly overpowered would mean that they could faceroll the fights or ignore mechanics because they burn them down too fast.
Unless that is the case it's not an issue of some classes being too powerful but others not being in line with the damage check the raid requires.
As other people pointed out in other threads. If you can't meet the enrage timer with the lower DPS jobs what's the point of nerfing other jobs? So they can't beat the enrage either? Wut?
No job needs a nerf at the moment.
Ok i aree on the brotherhood part, but mantra? really? Lets be honest here healing (just the healing potencies) is pretty strong right now, and in my experience 9/10 times mantra is useless it wont make you clear content "safely" nor is more consistent, in fact if you "need" (that is to say if mantra brings that much of an utility) then you are most likely not going to survive either way.I agree with Monk due to having Brotherhood and Mantra. However Blackmage bring nothing and is in a weird spot where nerfing them would put them in the same position as current Samurai. Also their higher damage isn't translating as well in savage content otherwise they'd be ahead of Monk right now.
I am on the camp of not nerfing the classes but buffing them, nerfing a class is not balance it creates the same unbalance just infavor of the other class, (as many has stated before) in the case of MNK just remove the party wide DMG boost from BH let it be just a boost to MNK , leave the effect of opening chackras, and there you go problem solved... and if you must because you feel like "mantra" is broken (Is really not...) then remove it.
Look lets be fair here MNK has always been forgoten in most of the expansions and adjustments, its either a joke (HW) or completly ignored after being robed of its identity by SAM (SB) and in ARR it was either MNK or DRG for the mayority of it so there wasnt much of a choice until NIN and even then it was picked out of necessity, it was literally the least played job in HW and SB, hell i think it was pretty low in ARR too. So that at least now (even if it is just for the numbers, kind of sad really) MNK is actually a played class. Some love to the class was actually needed, i hope that they dont nerf MNK but buff other classes.

No, stop talking about it and bringing attention to it, leave monk alone. Buffs other jobs and given quality of life because some jobs such as summoner really need it. Instead let us have fun.
