    less blurred symbols with higher scaling

    Can you please bring this somehow?

    We can scale the whole interface. With lower scaling below 100% this is usually not a problem but if it goes above 100% the symbols will be blurred.

    As a player playing FF14 in 2k resolution, the interface is smaller than usual and the buff symbols are even smaller.

    If you scale the buff symbols higher or generally any elements of the interface then you have a real heap of mud.

    I already have to wear glasses and even with that it's hard to keep track of the buffs and debuffs in all the hustle and bustle.

    And yes, theoretically I could play the game in a higher resolution but who wants that if you have the possibilities and the technique?

    Doubt this is going to happen any time soon.
    Usual response is going to be not having the time or manpower to invest into this, and whether it's even worth diverting resource to cover what's most likely an edge-case or even a minor % of the users playing like this.


    I mean you can follow your "theoretical approach" and playing in the higher resolutions.

    Gives several solutions for this.

    A much simpler solution would be to remove the percent selection and provide fixed sizes for the elements in the form of
    Very small
    Small
    normal
    Big
    Very Large

    They need 5 different sizes from one element which shouldn't matter much about the working capacity as they should have the "raw" file.


    Its annoying ^^ Year 2019 and they have to give us this... >_<

    yeah, but that's not something done quickly...
    The code for this game and any other is a mess, and you can't make changes nillywilly, even if it "looks" simple

    Aren't like most PS4 players playing in 4K anyhow?

    It's 2019, at this point I'd rather not have a next expansion and wait longer but then have a new FF MMO with a new, up-to-date engine that wouldn't hold current standards back.

    A: In older MMOs, such as Ultima Online, there was a house maintenance fee you had to pay weekly, but in FFXIV: ARR we decided against this system. Similarly, these older MMOs also had a system where your house would break down if you didn’t log in after a while in order to have you continue your subscription, but this is a thing of the past and we won't have any system like that.
