    Lag in FFXIV Only / Error 90006

    I am having issues with lag in FFXIV, and only with FFXIV. No other game or web service is affected from what I can tell.
    • My connection is a wired connection to a router.
    • WIndows Firewall and antivirus software has been disabled.
    • I experience the lag in all areas of the game (cities/hubs, private home, instanced dungeons)
    • I have tried the following: changing IE settings as recommended in other posts, changing FFXIV to run in Win 7 Compatibility mode, running as admin, multiple reboots of my PC and network devices, running the connection directly to my modem, flushing DNS, renewing IP addresses, changing DNS servers.

    I can post a trace route as well, if you can tell me what IP to direct it to.

    As it was in another users thread, I also tried their suggestion of uninstalling Google Chrome and the issue was instantly remedied.
