Housing Items Suggestions for a disorderly apartment?

Trying to make the apartment in my free company that fits my character: Tossing his clothes on the floor, everything dirty, scattered things about.
    So far i have:
    - Disordered Wardrobe
    - Pile of Tomes
    - Scattered Documents
    - Stack of Documents
    - Laundry Basket
    - Messy Dishes

and i am currently using a Futon Mattress, tho an unkempt bed of some sort would be preferred.

Any other messy housing items suggestions? Oh, also is there a dirty flooring tile?

There are two types of discarded clothes by the way as well (gained from the Fashion report vendor if I remember right).

Other items useful for that cluttered/messy look:

    Stack of Tomes
    Assorted Candles
    Classified Documents
    Sake Set
    Spirits Collection
    The Five Ages
    Mummer's wardrobe
    Adventuring Pack
    Sofa Cushions
    Hunting Supplies
    War Chest
    Towels
    Bag of Booty

The three GC Utility Cots also have a 'lived in'/cluttered look to them.

Finally, for walls, have you tried the Country Wallpaper as it has a rough 'decaying plaster with some brickwork showing through' appearence (meant to depict the walls of more primitive peasant style housing). As for floors, there is a brick tile flooring but I can't remember the name of it. Glade Flooring (which are plain wooden floorboards) should suffice though, although there is also the Unfinished Wood and Hingan floorings which look rougher.

Some of (a lot of?) the items you can consume as food get pretty messy looking once you consume all 10 of the food charges. Sadly, I'm not aware of any place you can preview what the "empty" versions of the food looks like. The only one I know of specifically is the Chilled Red wine bottles. Here's an old forum post with a few examples: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...=1#post2551323

Actually, in those few examples, pretty much just the Chilled Red looks messy, but if you want some empty dishware lying around, it looks like that's easy to come by.

Edit: The 3D view on the Garlond Tools database might show you what things look like empty? I can't get some of them to work, but most of them just show up as only the dishware, and no food. It looks like the empty Bowl of Oden could make for a nice dirty soup bowl unless it looks different in-game.

    Other messy-looking non-food suggestions:
    - Ashtray (NPC vendor)
    - Opened Twinkleboxes (Seasonal -- maybe available around the end of the year, maybe not)
    - Unfinished Shawl (crafted)
    - Incensory (crafted)
("Why this one?" you ask. This is a very small item that you can interact with that produces light smoke when on. When hidden inside of things and turned on, it can give the effect of stank lines emanating from stuff)

Other random crap you can throw around (but isn't necessarily messy-looking by itself):
    - Glass Jars / Wooden Plates / Wooden Cups (common chests from Eureka Pyros -- probably cheap)
    - Grocery Bag (NPC vendor)
    - Paint Can (NPC vendor)
    - Misplaced Eyeglasses (crafted)
    - Hingan Cleaning Supplies (crafted)
    - Honey Pot (crafted)
    - Leather Bags (crafted)
    - Wine Glass (crafted)
    - Prism Pouch (crafted)
    - Plush Pile (Lv70 treasure map portal instance(s) -- probably expensive)
    - Little Chef's Playset (Lv70 treasure map portal instance(s) -- probably expensive)
    - Undersea Spoils (FC submersible ventures -- probably expensive)
