Don't forget Magnai and his eternal quest to find his 'Moon'. Not including Y'shtola's epic rebuttal to his pick-up-line, I still think Sadu is his 'Nhamma' (she worships the Moon Goddess, has dark skin and a dark personality to match, is his equal in combat while also being his complete opposite (he's pure melee, she's a mage), and the fact they always keep getting in each other's way it's like they can't stand each other but want each other so badly as well. :P Ah well, love hurts I guess.

Also his right hand man whose name I can't remember I swear has a crush on Hien as he keeps 'claiming' him whenever they meet.

I thought of them but didn't mention it cus its not questline-based. Unless you count the Valentione's quest back in 2014(???) that had Rhoswen "confess" to him but Carvallain remaining (or faking?) oblivious to it. They are fun, though. Wish we'd get another set of postmoogle quests or something and see some development there.

Moonfire cameo aside, they're not from "a questline" but tend to arc through an assortment of them. CUL 55 is a highlight.

I also recall a sidequest in Limsa Lominsa (I don't remember what started it, but I know it involves the two Miqo'te guides/undercover Yellowjackets at the elevator landing) where two Lominsans were trying to figure out the "best type of woman", then Rhoswen gets involved, and Carvallain was the one who got her uninvolved, with plenty of implied romantic tension.

And in the Merlwyb-focused Tales From The Calamity, there was mention that Carvallain was the one who rescued Rhoswen when she charged recklessly into the enemy during a retreat.

I'm glad someone else remembers that. If you didn't talk to the Triple Triad Garlean NPC, I think it's your first real insight on them being actual people beneath those pot helms.
