I full-on cried at the vision cutscene + everything single thing you said. I've had so many touching moments throughout the game and that was definitely right up there <3I legit cried. I've been here from the beginning and I know they really have put blood, sweat and tears into this. The amount of care that the developers have for this game and for us means the world to me. People can call me a fangirl all they want to. I do not care. This is our game. Mine and yours, the dev team, the sound team, the art team, the everybody that put this together team. This is one of the only games where I feel like that. They give us love and I feel like we give it back and I am happy to be here until the next calamity and we are reborn into the next realm.

19th floor, please look forward to it.It was really nice, but still not quite the same level of feels that the 2015 Rising was - I don't think Yoshi and SE will ever be able to top the Eighteenth Floor.
Still, this year's one was poignant and really nice.
This time you have to find notes across the office, and there is a secret riddle with few hints.
Stuff like emoting in specific directions at specific time frames while the weather outside is a certain weather.
The riddle naturally only being unlocked after you bring Soken chicken, who will then play a series of notes that can be translated into the first part of the message.
FANGIRL! YOU F-F-fanGuRl!1I legit cried. I've been here from the beginning and I know they really have put blood, sweat and tears into this. The amount of care that the developers have for this game and for us means the world to me. People can call me a fangirl all they want to. I do not care. This is our game. I definitely feel they've put a lot of heart into the game. It's not that I think no other games don't do that, but that with the content rate/pace (being an active online game adds strict deadlines "Soon" is not often an option), improvements non-stop, and from where they came, it's easy to get emotional. I mean if you wanted fuel you can always watch his FFXIV Launch event speech (this is fun too: here). Trying to imagine what this game was like 1.0 from now, it's crazy~!
I'm glad they didn't give up- not only for FFXIV's enjoyment but my enjoyment of FF/SE games in general. With limited time and so many options it's easy to get burned by a company and just respond with "yeah, well okay you don't get my money ever again then" - and a company that abandons stuff and doesn't take their image seriously would probably be a company to slowly line up to that reality, and yet they didn't give up and so I'm very happy to continue having FF in my life (grew up, among other games, playing FFs- loads of nostalgia and love for the series).
It's those sort of thoughts that even though I'm always the type of person that loves to think about how something may morph or add on (especially if I like it, at that point it's even fun to think of what could be) and so I've tried to make sure my comments never get translated to the team to like "he thinks this is trash" lol. I mean I assume only general concepts are translated to the team, but if the dev team asked "what do they think about this" I'd hope not to be part of any hateful category even if I have some qualms (issues != hate). I think constructive criticism can be great but I don't want to bring down anyone's feelings if I can so help it, bring up and try to see things improve is better. It's also why I try to mention quite a few times what I think is beyond just good but like "wow... /slow clap, nice job team" (sometimes as their own posts sometimes built into other feedback). I'll always have my horses I like to beat (instanced housing, hype lol - though to add a good point I think their decorations are fantastic), but I do that out of love with a hug and handshake and an earnest attempt to share perspectives and desires, as well of course thanks. Assuming only a fraction of what is said is translated, general concepts, feelings, ideas, I hope my 1% is not bad feelings.. what a sad % that'd be then. All that has been a work in progress though, I think some of my earlier (early 1.0) stuff was sometimes not every effective and probably too much (most of my feelings on the subjects are the same, some not (I have changed lol!), just could have been said better or sometimes just said less XD).

The message I got from the fashion designer was when I realized that these were messages from the devs and I just burst into tears.
Happy tears of course.
I love whenever we get to hear from the devs. My fav Rising was went we got to visit the devs in the office, and I think this is right up there with that one.

It's ok fellow fangirl! I cried too. I'm still crying ;;

Thank you Dev team for all those touching messages!
Those feels... you made me cry you know!
Keep up the good work and take care of yourselves!
Crafting under sweat is fine and great, but I think we all agree, that we don't need your blood <3

One of my favorite messages was from the sound team Sokken and co we LOVE the sound track!!!
I have a secret to tell. From my electrical well. It's a simple message and I'm leaving out the whistles and bells. So the room must listen to me Filibuster vigilantly. My name is blue canary one note* spelled l-i-t-e. My story's infinite Like the Longines Symphonette it doesn't rest- TMBG Birdhouse in your Soul
A huge THANK YOU!!!! For FINALLY selling the Meteor Survivor Polo on the store. AND a huge thanks to my friend who bought it for me while he was at Fan Fest!!! YES I finally have my POLO!!!

Definitely gave me the feels. Good stuff.

My brain wasn't in the right place, and my immersion was too broken when I realized the Minstrel is strumming his harp backwards for the sound that is produced. Sound goes from low to high, but he strums from short strings to long.
Yes, it's nitpicky, and has probably been the same forever, but, I was just trying to pay too much attention to the quest.
Messages were nice. Though I didn't appreciate being called "Warrior of Darkness" when I haven't even bought the expansion yet. Idk. Just kinda didn't enjoy the few nearly spoiler-ish lines. But I can also appreciate the difficulty of making a Rising event, devs thanking fans and all, without mentioning the work they've done if a player hasn't gotten there yet.

Yeah. A huge thank you to all the ones involved with making XIV the game it is today
THANK YOU from a simple Adventurer who started his journey July 7th 2011![]()

After reading through them all, the last one confuses me at least in terms of who it is supposed to be.
