This game is not a port its just cross platform, if a 4000$ custom build rig runs this at 4k "true" ultra wide HDR at 100+ fps then the ps5 absolutely will.

I was talking mostly about the game experience, such as UI usage etc. Even if they let you run true 8K, you're still going to sit with the same UI (maybe a better looking version, but still the same) just because they need that UI to run at a good performance on the vanilla PS4. That's really what I was trying to say.

So you can have all the performance in the world, and you may see a more beautiful screen, but you'll still essentially be having the same experience as the guy with a vanilla PS4 because that's their design philosophy.
