It hasn't been announced yet but. Do you think the PS5 will get pre order items like the PS4 did? Either the same ones or new ones? I'm pretty sure the PS4 got the sale pre order bonus as the original release of ARR?

What do you mean?
There is no new FF XIV expansion launching when PS5 will be out (next year).
The new FF XIV expansion will be in 2021 the earliest (if they want to continue this game at least).
And personally I think the pre orders for the new expansion will be the same for everybody regardless what platform you pre-order it on.
Letter from the Producer LIVE Part IX Q&A Summary (10/30/2013)
Q: Will there be any maintenance fees or other costs for housing, besides the cost of the land and house?
A: In older MMOs, such as Ultima Online, there was a house maintenance fee you had to pay weekly, but in FFXIV: ARR we decided against this system. Similarly, these older MMOs also had a system where your house would break down if you didn’t log in after a while in order to have you continue your subscription, but this is a thing of the past and we won't have any system like that.
So when the PS4 version of FFXIV got released pre ordering it came with the ARR bonuses. I'm wondering if when FFXIV gets released on the PS5 if it will either come with the ARR bonuses or new ones.
I hope so, because when FFXIV was released to Ps4 we got new Standard/CE bonus ( minion, mount, acc ).
As fasr as i know the Mac version did not got the ARR pre-order bonus items.
And also the PS5 will be backwards compatible to PS4 games, there is no need for an extra PS5 version.
Buying a new game console day one is always a bad idea.
The number of times I have seen console first see third version die with a magnificent ring of dead or something similar, especially that at the exit it will be expensive in addition to being noisy while being a good heating for winter.
I am very happy to have the latest version of the Ps4 Pro very quiet.
If the console is for March 2020, then there will be no version completed before 6 months or 1 year.
And 2 years is far.
PS5 Limitations will be the excuse for it not happening.
The irony is that with the ps5 the limiting design factor will be with PCs and not the console, in fact since consoles are homogeneous and ludicrously powerful with this upcoming system the PCs are going to be holding back console games for once.
PCs never hold back consoles/games. PCs are and always will be superior to consoles. You are limited to when Sony/Nintendo/MS release a new console for an upgrade...PC you can upgrade everyday and whenever there is a better part if you feel like it, along with endless customization.
Edit: Also, pretty sure my PC can wreck a PS6.
No? The biggest hold up of modern consoles is power, and they are catching up in spades. The problem with PCs is always going to be the same, optimization, it will always be bad, to many variables in drivers and hardware is going to become the limiting factor period. Once console are 4k at 60fps and cheaper than a PC and all its equipment it wins hands down for companies to develop on and people to sell games with. It's a hard truth one day PCs with the plethora of options will be the thing that kills it, but hey that's the name of the game.PCs never hold back consoles/games. PCs are and always will be superior to consoles. For one a Ps6 doesn't exist but the Ps5 will crush your computer when it comes to , development optimization, costs, accessibility. The new ps5 standard comes with a SSD, and the ability to run any VR headset, 4k and 8k, 4k at minimum 60fps and 8k at 30 and 8k for media. That alone is better than 90% of all laptops and custom PCs built out here.
