i hope we 1 about Urianger, as much as i like the others he's my favourite and Elidibus is likely id say.

To be fair, as far as I can tell, everyone (who played in English audio) who experienced that story moment of Lyna's breakdown acknowledged that it was memorable voice acting, in a good way. So that kind of helped fix the character in people's minds.
But yeah, when you really think about it, apart from that one moment of emotion, Lyna is a cardboard cutout, in the "strict and rigid Captain of the Guard" archetype. We see little hints about her actual personality (like when she snarked about the Exarch's poor saluting), but it's hidden under her thick shell of "bland duty above all else".
I didnt mention this before but given how our first one was sorta about Thancred's backstory and his experience in the First, and there's three more to come, I kinda expect the rest to follow suit with the other Scions. Probably Y'shtola next given how popular she's been in this expansion, followed by Urianger because frankly we know more about interspecies breeding in FFXIV than we do about that man, and then capping off with the Twins since you can't separate them and they're kinda the main characters sans the WoL.
On the more humorous side of things, it's funny to imagine Minfillia's moment of realisation once she learns the true nature of that weird twink that stalks her and is kinda creepy but ultimately helped her out a bit.
Its funny cus its kinda true. lol
Urianger was a real breakout character for me this expac, so I'd love more from his pov. And I have a morbid curiosity about how his first days in Il Mheg went. lol
Yeah, up until the breakdown (...and after it really) she didn't feel like she really had a purpose besides making a feature of the fact that Viera and dancers are now a thing.
Her breakdown sort of worked because we hadn't seen her be emotional before that point, but still.
I think we needed more "show, don't tell" of her relationship with the Exarch - not just waiting until we're nearly at the end of the story to drop the fact that she's his adopted granddaughter. It helps build an understanding of her character, and it helps emphasise how old the Exarch actually is despite his appearance (and regardless of whether you know his true identity or not).
An introspective piece on Urianger would be great.
Though, Elidibus... unless we get some major developments from him in the patches, I don't think they would want to look too deeply into his mind at this point. He's a character who works because we don't know what he's thinking.
If we get anything written from an Ascian viewpoint, I expect it would be Emet-Selch.
That could be a fun one! Maybe even set it when Thancred and Minfilia come to visit him.
---
While it seems an obvious thought that each of the Scions would get a story, I'm not sure they will - at least if they stick to the same "eight Tales per expansion" format. Alphinaud and Alisaie don't seem like they've done anything really interesting that didn't get covered within the story already, plus they've had previous tales focused on them.
So if they don't want to step off and focus on minor characters, we might get something like...
- Y'shtola
- Urianger
- Ryne?
- Emet-Selch?
- Ran'jit?
- Biggs the Third
- Lyna
- Feo Ul?
- Ardbert?
I'm not sure if G'raha Tia would get his own story or if he would have featured enough in others already.
