[Suggestion] Add a Nightmare mount to every set of Primals.

I believe a nightmare mount added to each set of Primals would be a good addition to the game. Currently, there is only a nightmare mount for ARR Primals. Imagine if S.E. added Nightmare versions of each Primal mount to every set of Primals.

I think this would increase the number of current farm parties and give people even more of an incentive to help new people clear old content. Simultaneously, it will also increase the longevity of people playing current content. Thoughts?

I don't think it would help at all people are usual sick of the fights if they have to go 99 kills especially if anything annoys them about the fight and adding a 1% drop rate mount would exasperate the problem especially down the line as newer players join, I got my nightmare pony during HW when i was tank mount farming, not going for it properly.

However if they was a way to mitigate the rng say with needing 30 of every trial of the expansion totems etc then i would be fine with an absurdly low drop rate. One thing i have learned if your going to have rng there needs to be a way of mitigating it so you are always progressing(working) towards your reward, this is why Blu primal skills are so hated, why ponies had to be buffed signifacantly even compared to buffed lanners/doggos.

The nightmare was the original primal mount, added before any others. That's why it was unique. Then they got the idea to have each primal drop its own mount, with a bonus for getting them all.


So in essence, the final mount for having all mounts is the new nightmare.

People would just farm the easiest/fastest one to clear for the mount. It wouldn't really help new players.

Nah, if it's something like a super rare mount, like the concept of 'nightmare', it should stay extremely difficult to get. That would make having one more of a status symbol, and make it more of a worthwhile reward.

No thanks. Already farmed all of my birds and all of the dogs that would drop a Nightmare type mount if it was implemented ARR style. If they want to add it to subsequent ex trials, that would be fine, but I don't want to go back to content I finished with.
