I've had it happen briefly, but they'd usually wise up and realize that if they're dominating that badly they'd be better off just pushing for the main keep and ending the match quickly.
Which is one of the reasons I wish Rival Wings was more popular. A good team can similarly just totally streamroll the opposition and end their suffering quickly instead of being gated by points from objectives/kills.
It's just demoralizing in frontlines once first place establishes a solid lead because it's extremely unlikely they'll lose it unless they start letting second/third have crystals/nodes to themselves. Even if they get wiped the point bonuses from killing from players with battle high/fever aren't likely to matter if they were allowed to amass it in the first place.

The BH team did actually get pinched and lost most of their players around the 700/800 points mark in my most recent match, but they were still up 200 points or so so it didn't really matter in the end.
If they're ever actually allowed to farm up multiple battle fevers the other teams have likely lost so much points their chances of winning are already gone.

I don't get it. Every single game does this.
Shooters with killstreaks.
Fighting games with guages.
Racing games with drifting.
You don't reward players for being bad, that's like if a shooter gave someone on a 20 death streak a tactical nuke so they felt better, or a racing game gave you a free speed increase because you were in last place for 5 minutes.
You don't buff people on killstreaks either. Which is what this game does.I don't get it. Every single game does this.

Because apparently you missed the post.
Assume there are only 24 players in total in a map, a party gets wiped once by a premade, and the premade team farming kills immediately goes to the next party to wipe them. It is possible for 1-3 of them to already have Battle High, or 1 to have Battle Fever while another has Battle High.
Now assume it was 3 people, and all 3 of them were DPS. That's a 20% increase in damage for 3 DPS. Now assume all 3 of them focus a healer, and that healer is only one of two in your party. That healer is most likely already dead, despite your team focus targeting, because their healers are healing whoever you aim for, and 3 of those 4 DPS are doing 20% more damage. Getting 1 Battle High is fine. The second there are multiples on an enemy team, you've already lost, because it starts a snowball effect due to the amount of power and adrenaline gain increase, and the fact that the only way to get rid of it is to KILL the person who has it. You can't wait out the duration, there isn't a negative aspect you can exploit. There is nothing you can do at this point, and all it took was a single wipe of both opposing teams to cause the snowball effect.

You say that the second there are multiple battle highs on an enemy team you already lost, yet I've been in parties many times that were facing just that situation and managed to overcome the disadvantage and wipe the enemy party. Your statement that there is nothing you can do at that point is just not true.

100% this. You say that the second there are multiple battle highs on an enemy team you already lost, yet I've been in parties many times that were facing just that situation and managed to overcome the disadvantage and wipe the enemy party. I mean my last FL of the day we were 200 points behind and both the other two teams had multiple highs, it was rough. So we just put them in situations where they had to fight each other (because we weren't worth farming) and just played around them, then a sandwich at the end secured the win (Seize).
I'm actually tired at this point of people making every excuse for losing when problem isn't an external one, it's your own team being bad. Accept the fact you're going to get smacked around every now and then and move on, play better, communicate better instead of finding every excuse that doesn't involve you as a player. So no Hayk, I haven't missed the point - the case is still people are blaming getting smashed around the map on battle high when the buff doesn't just miraculous spawn on DPS - you need to be getting beaten quite comfortably already.
If you wanna minimize the chances of this happening, make friends with people that have an ounce of sense and play with them instead of random garo memes that just wanna play their matches for mount and then get out of q, it's a social multiplayer game - make the most of that fact.

What would you have done if they took those battle highs to block every one of your cap attempts?
That's right, nothing, because you couldn't fight them which you openly admitted.
If you're afraid to engage and are hoping the other sides fight each other so you can ninja cap, that shows a problem with the mechanic inherently. You should become fearful of engages because of skill/tactics disparities. Not because somebody farmed a bunch of sprouts/stragglers with a gank train to get a busted buff.
Bring it down to 3-5% there's no excuse for it being as high as it is and anyone claiming it's balanced because the teams with it make tactical errors, that's not sound reasoning and is surmount to excusing because of a want to abuse it, rather than seeing it balanced in such a way that it's still rewarding but not forcing a playstyle because it's so laughably over the top.
How can anyone consider 20-40% increase balanced is beyond me....
