How the Rising broke my heart

I just wanted to express how disappointed I was about not being able to replay that end scenario thing again. I had bought the 1.0 collectors edition and ended up quitting because of how poorly it performed on my pc but really wanted to experience the storyline and content that some of the 1.0 players got to. I've grown to love FFXIV and feel a yearning to be able to go back and experience some of the main highlights and story plots. I was tald there wasn't much to really experience from other players but was wondering if there was enough actual content to have a side scenario made for it.

I was thinking of something along these lines:
Having a historian start a recount of the events and then being sucked into it via echo flashback. You could even give it to us in parts. Of coarse it wouldn't have to be the entirety of 1.0 but just the main scenario quests and plot points.

Idk if I'm asking for too much or being unfair but it's somthing that I've wanted for a while now and was wandering if anyone else felt the same way.

That's standard for seasonal events though, each year the event changes with new rewards, and the previous event disappears never to be seen again.

Unfortunately even having a 'recap' event of 1.0's events simply is not possible as the old enviroments, spells, abilities and story do not exist anymore, so any theoretical event that is set in that era would have to use the existing ARR models and enviroments, which is not that accurate. Really the closest you'll get to seeing a 'return to 1.0' style event is the rematch of 1.0's final battle at the Rivenroad as Turn 9 of the Second Coil of Bahamut.... and even that isn't truly the same as the Rivenroad fight was.

Sadly 1.0 is gone and is never coming back. SE may add little flashbacks to events in the 6th Astral Era like the aforementioned Rivenroad fight in Second Coil, and last year's Rising event, but there will never be a wholescale ressurection of 1.0's story, because much of it was retconned or cannibalized for ideas for ARR's story anyway and it would be redundant.

They had a scenario one of the years back, with an angry dalamud in the sky, disjointed music, and you had to kill enemies invading Ul'dah. I'm guessing it didn't make a comeback this year?
