    No one is asking for a 1 to 1 ratio. They are asking for either 1. Passable loot so they can pass weapons they don't need/want OR for 1 totem for each clear so they can see progress.


    Also just to be clear, if it was 1 totem per fight for each person for a win. And if it took 10 totems to get one weapon. It'd still take one player 70 wins to get 7/7 on ONE primal...that is just a little over 29 hours of CONSTANT playtime if you did every win in 10mins or under (you still have to account for the 15 minute waiting period). So if the average static group did this fight every day for 2 hours, it'd still take them 2-3 weeks to clear depending on how fast they could kill the Primal/how many wipes they had.

    And I'd rather do away with the totems/nuts etc. I prefer passable loot, which takes LONGER to get 7/7 even in a static. I figured that out in an earlier post. Basically the passible loot system would take about a month to get 7/7 for each member of a static if they ran the Primal for 2.5 hours every day.

    In either case, there's a feeling of 'progress' happening.

    Players aren't asking for easy, they are asking for measurable progress.

    Also, I was in a ls that took 4 years of Dynamis to get ONE, yes ONE BLM Hat....and it wasn't due to lack of trying/running dynamis. Just stupid luck.

    They said they couldn't do passable weapons which is why most want 1 totem per win.

    Hrm... Actually, this is interesting. If that IS the case, and in that case it's something deeply ingrained in the current game structure, do you think they'd be willing to change that (each one gets their own chest but it's possible to throw it into the loot list) in 2.0 or do they believe that is a good design choice?

    that cannot be the case. if the totems can go to your loot list out of the same chest there is no way that they could not put the weapon in there as well. it's there for no other reason than the fact they coded it to do that. it will not be the fact that it cannot be, and it has to be that's how they WANT it to be.

    The weapons are U/U however, there could very well be some bizarre mechanic related to that. Have you ever seen any Untradeable go in your loot list? I know I haven't but I don't play that much, I was almost going to mention the easter eggs but I know they're just Unique, not Untradeable.

    So simple solution, everyone needs tapers/keystones to get into fight. Then they can code so the loot is passable without worrying about who 'qualifies' for items. They were able to add nuts/totems as drops, they could add this if they wanted to. (And I'd accept 'We can only do this in 2.0') The bigger gripe I have is if SE keeps the system we have now for EVERY primal, it's gonna get super annoying pretty quick. Right now, we're talking about 2 different primals (soon to be 3)...one day it could be up to 12 primals with this horrible drop system...

    Dear lord I hope they do something different. Was already unimpressed about the chest spawn mechanices of Darkhold being used for Cutters/Vale.
