maybe but maybe they could make it putting a sword on the off hand could work

I could see that... some Job allows it
OR...
maybe you equip a sword set in the main hand and the off hand becomes unavailable
Like how 1 earring is really a pair now....
The only thing with that is you wouldn't be able to mix and match different 1-hand swords
