    Request: Please remove active quests limit

    As the title says, I'd like for this to be removed.
    In XI you could get all the quests you wanted from town and then set off to complete them. This was great!

    Currently I don't even talk to the NPCs marked with "!" because I know I won't have room for it. I'd like to just go around town, talk to every NPC, pick every quest, and then set out to complete them.

    Thoughts?

    yes, i hate this in other mmo's. i want to be able to grab them all and do them as i do them. also at least in other mmo's the quest usually means u need to be somewhere in that area. half of ffxiv's stuff takes you to other zones. but i guess not so much the side quests but either way if they plan on real quests like the ones they had in ffxi they usually were many steps in them and lots of traveling. dont' make us have to only pick 20. it's annoying. i hate it. no real good reason i can think of to not just let us pick them all outside them wanting us to do all that running around right away rather then kill a few birds with one stone.

    Even WoW has quest limits, how about completing some quests before picking up new ones.

    Why do you need more than 16 ?

    I can only guess the reason for the limit is similar to the reason they listed for not giving us unlimited inventory space. It apparently takes up more data on the servers. (Storing which quests are active on each character is likely similar to storing which items are on each character.)

    Its not a data problem, you can flag a players progress with a simple text or XML file.

    Its the same reason why we can pick up only 8 leves at a time, the devs don't' want you to have more than that, I have completed every side quest in the game and never had a problem with not having enough room.

    Like I said complete some before picking up more. (bite of more than you can chew much ?)

    I will defer to your programming knowledge Jinko. However, what is the reason we can only have 8 leves or 16 quests etc. The only other reason I can think of is a rather unimaginative time sink. Just because there are ways around the system, even if they are relatively simple, does not justify the existence of the system in the first place.

    it's not biting more then can chew it's more like i'm doing other things and i pick up the quests. i used to hand in craft locals when i was doing leves, fact i only did craft ones in the same areas i was grinding leves so i can hand them in and use same anima.

    theres days your in mood to do quests, days you feel like doing crafting or gathering. but all in all why would you have to run zone to zone to pick these said quests up that you already saw. why would you need to go off game to find out locations to quests when you past them before, or have to memorize where they are.
