Ninja is weak, like very weak.

Ninja is so freaking weak!!!!... I know I come from a power house (BLM main), but when I switch to Ninja I just feel it is so underpower. Hell I can do more damage with my warrior or even DRK. I know it is one of the harder jobs out there, but there is no middle ground, you either use it perfectly or you suck. Feels like it is unfairly balanced and the duration of the Bunshin barely makes it interesting... Compared to other jobs like the Samurai, I feel they can ramp up the damage just enough so that the starting combo attack hit more than the Tank's starting combo attack (just saying). It needs AT LEAST a 10% damage increase in all the skills. Right now it is a an amazingly fun weak class.

If you can do more damage on your DRK, then you need to learn to play ninja better

Sounds like you need to go right back to a striking dummy and figure out what you're doing, because it makes no sense that your DRK or WAR are doing more damage then your NIN.

apart from his phrasing,he is right, the IN is way behind every other melee by a large margin,and the +50 on spinning slash was a joke,he do way too less,and his trick attack does not make up for it

How far do you think NIN is behind other melee DPS, honestly?

Devs just want folks to try out other jobs instead of the usual nin meta for savage and such for now, almost certainly going to see nin buffs later on in 5.1. I personally think they should nerf TA more, like 5% for 10-15 secs and just buff the heck out of mudra skills to make them feel harder hitting and worth using.

How did you come to that conclusion?

I am not sure if safe to say where you can look up the numbers, but currently ninja is the lowest in Dungeons, and hovers between 2nd to 4th lowest in Raids. Tanks are dead even in raids with Gunbreaker being top in Dungeons. Healers in Raids WHM eeks out ahead slightly, where as in Dungeons WHM is top with Scholar second.

A simple google search can help others confirm these stats, if want to verify.

As for ninja being lowest, I honestly feel Monk was just overly buffed, from what stats are showing, holy cow... I see no reason not to share the love into Ninja and even Dancer some.

But, no Ninja are below tanks from what I've seen. A few iffy stats where Gunbreaker slammed ahead of them, but I think that's a fluke.

Yeah its not safe to say those numbers like Komarimono said, but one thing, no ninja is not behind tanks, but last behind in melee .
