I forgot my password and have been locked out after purchasing the expansions I missed after my hiatus and my security questions could not be answered (because they might contain an ä, and it would not be the first time this causes funky ASCII problems and thus render my answers as "wrong" every time!). I knew my password for the game but not for the MogStation!

After being redirected to like 50 different Square Enix and Mogstation pages with nothing achieved, I gave up and reached out for the chat by opening the launcher and hit CUSTOMER SUPPORT.

After a wait of 20 seconds I had a polite (German) lady chatting to me. After a bit of verification (when I bought the game, registered it etc) she guided me trough everything smoothly and without any problems. It was a very difficult task, almost a loophole (if I remember correctly, it was me loggin into the game, getting an error message, being redirected to yet another page which then again redirected me further without asking for the unkown password because due to me logging into the launcher, I apparently had a token on my system or some weird shit like that). Her answers were swift, succesful, calm, professional. I expected to never see my Lalafell again, but she calmed me down and we took several approaches until it worked.

After NEXON, RIOT GAMES and ARENA-NET, which all sucked monkey balls, this support team here was my best experience so far.
