Is there any game out there with a worse support team than final fantasy?

I swear I've never had a worse experience talking to any other customer support than I've had with ffxiv's team, they'll be happy to ban someone for swearing (even if the profanity filter is on by default) but if someone steals from you or your FC they'll send out enough canned responses to fill an emergency bunker, all while avoiding doing anything about the problem itself.

Am I alone in having bad experiences with them or what?

Ha, no, I had to report someone for stealing money from the FC chest by hacking into a fellow FC members account, we have screenshots of the money withdrawn and the persons inventory and everything but they wouldn't do anything because the hacker had "access" to the FC chest and therefore that money belonged to them.

A lot of games have no support at all, so easily there are worse. But it is 100% your responsibility to set up FC bank permissions just for this occasion. Any bank will not give you the time of day if you complain that your roommate who you gave your card and PIN stole all your money. That's on you.

First of all, victim blaming! Second of all, banks care about identity theft so they would care.

Finally, and most relevantly, the person who stole it hacked on to my friend's account, invited a dummy player to the FC, promoted them to the rank that could take money, proceeded to take aforementioned money, then left the FC. That's straight up theft and the support doesn't want to deal with it because I'm not the one that got hacked, even though the FC is very communal so I'm also a victim here.

The person who got hacked is the one responsible for reporting this. Squeenix is never going to give you information on another account, or take any actions on someone else's account because you say so. It's silly to even think they would. Have the person who got hacked talk to them about getting your FC gil back.

This is as old as MMO themselves, the good old Guild chest/account stealer. Sorry but, as every MMO I ever played have said about this issue : You should be more cautious with autorisation AND your login info.

They have it covered since its FORBBIDEN to share your login info with anyone. Doing so your FC mate automaticaly assume the responsability of it.
