FFXIV Mac OSX Catalina 64 bit client Patch update failed error

So I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong as I've tried everything from completely wiping and reinstalling everything on my MacBook Pro 2018, I've ensured port forwarding has been done correctly, I've tweaked and even turned off all security and firewalls temporarily to see if they were the problem but so far nothing is working. The game downloads and goes through updating the client at least twice then on the third install and relaunch it tries to load then stop at about 2/3 of the way through and gives me this error. Patch update failed (talks about checking stuff on windows even though this is being run on Mac) then these codes: [11005] [20815] [20866] [19900] [32]. If anyone has a clue of what to do please help because I'm getting really frustrated. Everything else seems to work fine with other games I play.

Good morning and thank you for posting in the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

Have any updates or changes been made to your network? If you are using wifi, please connect directly to the router. I also suggest to try the following:

    - Close any back ground programs to minimize any game interference
    - Make sure the game is allowed through anti virus programs
    - Update Safari web browser
    - Delete ‘Browsing History’ and ‘Cache’ in the Safari browser
    - Run the Apple Update program to check that all firmware is up-to-date on your Mac OS

Nothing has changed with my wifi from when I used to play the older 32 bit version on mac before my OS updated. I've checked everything to make sure. I've ensured it's allowed through any anti-virus software and even went as far as disabling that and all firewalls just to make sure it was not those and I still get the same error. I already tried calling support and they had no idea also, I tried playing it on my small windows 10 HP laptop and it worked perfectly on the same internet. I think something is seriously broken with the updates the client is trying to download when it gets to the 2nd update it tries to install for the client.

MacOS Catalina is 64-bit only. It is also still in Beta so using Catalina before release will without a doubt create issues.

This said FF XIV runs via Cross Over which in short is an over-glorified WINE setup. Currently People are having issues using WINE itself on Catalina.

IDK if link posting is allowed but a quick google search will shed some light on the matter.

The current system Reqs are: macOS Mojave 10.14.3

So my suggestion is revert back to 10.14.6 and wait for 10.15 to be officially supported if possible.

I was hoping the Devs would reply on the matter further but I figured since its been about a week I would chime in.

Good afternoon and thank you for the reply.

We apologize in the delay of our response to your concern. Please try the following:

Check to see if the following port ranges are opened on your router. You can contact your ISP and request they open them for you:
    ▼TCP
    54992 through 54994,
    55006 through 55007,
    55021 through 55040

Thank you for visiting the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

I also have this problem on Catalina. My ports are open and it worked fine on mojave. I know you guys have no obligation to support prerelease software, but it's launching the final in like 2-3 weeks so it's likely not going to get fixed before then so we'd like to help you know the solution so mac players don't go dark

Thank you for the reply everyone.

Since Mac OSX Catalina is currently in a pre-release stage, the Mac client has not been updated to support it properly. The issue you are running into is likely because of this incompatibility. Unfortunately, you may need to change the OS to the officially supported version, this being MacOS Mojave.

We hope we can be of assistance in helping you enjoy the exciting world of Final Fantasy XIV!
