    Can't connected to NA Data Centers - 2002 Error

    So last night 8/23/2019 20:00 AEST ~ i tried to log in to play, got up to the title screen hit Start waited around for longer than usual (a minute or two) while it tried to connect to the data center (Primal) before it kicked me to a black screen showing a 2002 Error.
    tried again 8/24/2019 and multiple times I got the same result across all the NA data centers but for some reason I can perfectly connected to the JP and EU data centers without any problems

    to attempt to fix the problem I've : Checked windows firewall and made sure it's ignoring FFXIV, Malware bytes to see if it's blocking it and added Exclusions in case, tried to use the DMZ on my router, and looked to see if I have any trouble programs installed that might have an effect on my ability to connect (I've heard people needed to uninstall WTFast).

    BTW I can still connect to both the Mogstation and the Lodestone. Connecting from Australia.
    Still experiencing the same problem today 8/25/19.

    Have any updates or changes been made to the network? Are you using wifi or connected directly to the router?

    I had this same problem. http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...19#post5158819 . That's what they told me on my forum post. They said there was nothing they could do and basically left me to be sad in a corner with no hope of fixing the problem. Luckily the maintenance that THEY did seems to have fixed the problem for me. Try logging in again and see if its fixed for you. Nothing they could do ..... yah right. I must say I'm a bit salty after my customer support experience.
