Actually there is. If I can get people talking in this thread again, it will show the devs when they get back on Monday that this thread has been buzzing again. I'm sorry but I wasn't going to wait until Monday to necro a thread. I wouldn't remember by then.

Insulting people in the counter argument isn't going to change their minds. It will make them stick harder to their opinion regardless of whether or not it's right, and think less of your opinion simply because you insulted them. In essence, if you want to try and change someone's mind, come up with a well thought-out response and don't be a dick.
I see level sync on FFXIV after 5 or more years, not now. Also level sync on xi made terrible players
Guildleves made terrible players ^^ if they add level sync now they can ensure that all content is balanced for it and future content made with it in mind to stop exploits like Astral Burning in FFXI. Also FFXIV will not have the problems that FFXI had of players with weapons not capped as that system does not exsist in FFXIV
Agreed. I'd like to see them come up with a Level-sync system that would better prevent people from leveling 20-70 in the same spot so that they know how to do their jobs in the higher levels.Guildleves made terrible players ^^ if they add level sync now they can ensure that all content is balanced for it and future content made with it in mind to stop exploits like Astral Burning in FFXI. Spoiled the crap out of players is what it did, but I guess a spoiled player could be considered a terrible player as well.Guildleves made terrible players ^^ if they add level sync now they can ensure that all content is balanced for it and future content made with it in mind to stop exploits like Astral Burning in FFXI. Now SE fixed that. Now the exp/sp you get on leve is so low that didn't worth wasting time on that, unless you need marks or some gil.Guildleves made terrible players ^^ if they add level sync now they can ensure that all content is balanced for it and future content made with it in mind to stop exploits like Astral Burning in FFXI. Papa was a rolling stone...wherever he laid his barbut was home.
Incorrect, level-sync did not make terrible players. They were bad before and after it was added. Level-sync just made them stand out more and helped them level.
Seeing as a player could go 1-50 in the same map right now, level-sync won't change much. Right now in my LS there are 2 45+ members, 5 25-35 and like 15 + 1-24s who end up soloing because we don't have anything their level. Most of them will quit because of lack of grouping.
I will go as far as saying level-sync is a MUST for XIV's survival in the long run. I got friends coming to try the game. Why should their first experience on FFXIV be a lonely and dull one?
Answer is simple, they shouldn't have to suffer the monotony of solo grinding when there are people online and willing but lack the mean to sync down.

I agree with this. All I want is to play with my friends and gain normal sp instead of gaining less because my friend is 12 levels above me, which he would be willing to sync down if given the option.Incorrect, level-sync did not make terrible players.
