It can work early in a games' life, but it needs to be part of proper content design. Exactly. Adding a feature into a flawed design wasn't going to make things better. GW2 is also having a level sync at launch(believe it is called sidekick also) and probably then people will see it in a different light. Just assuming since that game has a lot of eyes watching closely. It is also one of the games that have people stating XIV has limited time.
