Because the rank 1 leves give like 3k+ SP PER KILL with full links and aspect
All you'd need is to cycle through everyones alts level syncing and then leve linking and go 1-50 in a week

And you think that bonus would still apply to your R40 while in level sync at R1? Even in FFXI they made it so you couldn't sync below level 10. If they did it in this I imagine it would be R20 for minimum sync as getting to there is easy enough.

But either way you only get so much because of a huge bonus that you get at those ranks. As you are actually R40 or whatever rank those bonuses would not apply to you so you would get the normal SP without the huge added bonus.
