I enjoy going camp to camp once it was added to the game all i did was party at 37 and it's not like i could make my own party and go to the right camp. Everyone would just leave and make the party themself and go to the Ron (s). Once you do endgame events you saw many noobs without the needed skills.I know in FFXIV that does not matter but i guess it can work out in FFXIV better then it did in FFXI.

Seeing how we level by doing dungeon and quest and leve quest and not really party camp this may work out in ffxiv. But i wish it was never added to ffxi i never had issue looking for players only when a new game came out or it was sports week or something like that,.

Thanks for clarifying your point, and I see where you are coming from... In my case, I swore off FFXI, never to look back, because as a white mage, one day (more then one day) I logged in and found that I waited around for two hours before getting a party... I tried starting one, I tried joining, but no luck... This was the straw that broke the back of the game for me... I released I could have done something other then shouting for parties all the time, and so I moved on... Level sync brought me back and thus I played FFXI until the day XIV came out...

Being able to play with my friends (we were all different levels) and being able to get into parties without having to worry about different xp issues was the best part of this system. I didn't like losing access to skills, but I did enjoy that I could just get into a party and enjoy my time...

Sure people would grab lower level players and sync to them, but that also added value to lower level players and in the end had a real positive effect on the game as a whole... Fields of Valor added to that enjoyment.

With FFXIV, I can see them adding in some benefits to moving to different camps, but being able to play with my friends and others who come into the game for the PS3 release or come back to see the game when it's "ready" if we don't have something like this, I feel there might be a huge disconnect between current players and new players...

But still, I can see your points and the negative parts of the system. Hopefully we'll get the best of both worlds.
