    It should not go below 24 and then I would be ok with it...
    Didn't they just increase SP gains from 20-24?

    In XI you couldn't even sync below rank 10... I see something like this being brought into the game, thus removing any kind of Rank 1 camp bonus... If players couldn't sync up until Rank 10, that would put them at or around the second camp, and also the rewards just aren't that great, sure you get SP/XP but I'd still like to see leves being adjusted to also reward sp/xp bonus' for completing the leve. Someone posted a great idea, how that bonus pool goes down for killing all the mobs in the leve, and if something like that were added, they could add higher SP bonus' for the higher camps, thus making other camps leves more rewarding.

    Whatever gives content replayability is a good thing. Either level-synching or some broader kind of mentoring (allowing only to gain some secondary kind of XP) would be nice.

    Level sync sucked in 11 it just made people over crowd camps and be under skilled. They bring it back in 14 just another reson for me not to come back to this game. It ruined ffxi with open crap like summoner burning and the abuilty to leach so some people just would not learn there jobs right. They bring it back to 14 well that it for me ill have to call it quits.

    And all the things you're stating affected your game play how?
    You don't want summoner burns? (good news no summoner in 14)
    Overcrowded camps? (good news, parties are mobile)
    People couldn't learn their jobs because of no experience with abilities? (good news, you can use a r40 ability on a r1 class)
    Gimped skills? (still more good news, no skill caps in 14)
    Call it quits? (good news for us, you're not playing anyway, so stop crying on the forum)

    You obviously haven't played 14 much, since all of your concerns really only apply to 11.

    This game is fairly different than FFXI and there is already a +5,-10 rank difference you can have. Level Sync isn't needed in this game.

    i dont see a problem in level sync the way the game currently is, you dont need any skill and don't even really need to pay attention from lvl 1-50 in this game its just loleasy, unless they change it, why are ppl affraid ppl will have no skill at lvl 50? i dont get it... i think people even lose skill on their way to lvl 50 due to no challenge.

    And the problem with the 3 regions and starter cities also is the lack of a AH that links all cities/wards. So even if limsa or grid will get more exciting i highly doubt ppl will change the uldah focus. One of the many SE homemade problems to fight rmt... and the ppl they fighitng the most is their own playerbase.

    oh and another thing... Leves are heaven for rmt... anyone seen the huge masses of same looking ppl gathering at aetherits so everyone there gets the linked rewards and only 1 person acutually does the leve? (off topic i know)
    The game is so easy no matter what you do, i think that is the biggest problem with rmt the immersion and the game at all. Even if your blind you can manage to get to rank 50 and have a decent amount of money in your pocket lol

    SE needs to make a lot of the areas more interesting Level sync will help players to level and lvl with friends but it will not make the "lets do levinshower" or "dunesfolk" better or worse. It will stay the same until they start giving us proper fun things to do at any lvl, not only endgame.

    The only reason Qufim was so popular is because ppl could dual box (or someone actually playing would do it but.... lol to them) the powerleveller couldnt die to the mobs, and the mp cost for cure1/2 was a sinch. This game is currently different. Mobs are more sparse, curing from outside the party doesnt matter as its speed of cures, rather than size of MP pool. You can equip cure3 (r48) at r1................ so powerlevel = LOL

    Level sync will fit very well in this game. I totally abused level sync in xi.... you know what? I abused powerlevelling before that anyway. In many ways other than straight up rdm or whm cures; SMN could enter and exit pt dropping Earthern Ward (AoE stoneskin for 15min duration, on a rank 10 char from a 75smn it would wear off by time rather than breaking), bard could enter sing 2 songs from max level and exit between fights. I NEVER NEEDED LEVEL SYNC it just allowed me to bring more ppl with me abusing the exploits.


    Mobs sparse = no camping* ever seen a raptor party? God, the running, the running, the running.....

    Too early in game to have a faster easier way to rank up.

    If you want to play with your friends, bite the bullet and wait for them to be on or wotever.

    You can level up another job, or craft, or gather, or farm, or chat with ppl in-game while you wait for friends to log. Hell you can even log out and go outside.
