I would like to see a level sync.

But of course... the Level sync I am thinking about is the higher rank character matching rank with lower rank character . . . thus dropping ranks.
Level Sync is a great feature, it didn't ruin FFXI... it SAVED it.
The biggest issue I have with level sync is this. Every 36 player that was available got spammed for /tell party invite. East Ronnie (S) was too full and cramped and it was almost impossible to get a camp there. From my experience in 11 and level sync there are those "sweet" camp spots, normally involving puks and colbri's that you could get the best xp. Because of this it ruined other camp spots because everyone wanted the best areas. It reminds me alot of behest actually. Everyone goes to the same ones and this causes overcrowding. If SE were to implement this then they really need to consider making more camps available where everyone get's the same sp range to stop overcrowding.

If players choose to compete in the 'who can join the behest the fastest' game, that's their choice. I've done plenty of behests with LS mates in the underpopulated areas, and it's just fine. Besides, the best way to level is leve linking... and that involves zero competition. The biggest issue I have with level sync is this. Exactly if SE add level sync then it will be down to them to make sure their are lots of camps available for everyone of all level ranges. Yes they made that error in FFXI and lets hope they don't do that again and this time balance out mob distribution so we have lots of viable camps. First they actually have to make some camps because that is one area they are really lacking in atm making grind parties pretty much useless in comparison to the huge amounts of SP/EXP you earn leve linking. The biggest issue I have with level sync is this. Also you know what I did if a camp was overcrowded and EXP was slow in FFXI? I went to a different one that wasn't ^^
I just don't see overcrowding being an issue in a game where leveling is done through instancing. There is already overcrowding in Behest, which can be resolved by simply porting to another behest in that level range.Exactly if SE add level sync then it will be down to them to make sure their are lots of camps available for everyone of all level ranges. I don't think that Leve's will be the main source of SP/EXP for much longer, they were originally designed as quick content that casual players could jump into easily. However as they are currently pretty much that is all anyone does, once SE gets some more things in for us to do I imagine the focus will be taken off leve's.

They should add an SP bonus system which moves from camp to camp on different days, it would possibly encourage players to use less common camps.
Say for example when you pick up leves, the name of a camp with the bonus would be in a different colour.

This could potentionally save the gridiana and limsa camps but like gracious said also. Uldah on every server is the major trade hub. What i dont get is why, sure its in middle of the 3 cities and has 4/8 of the best leves in the game. However Limsa is blacksmith and armorsmith haven if u goto LL. Gridiana well... it doesnt matter, it will, should be a crater after the Garlean Empire invades in a few months![]()
