I know it was like 5+ years before XI had the sync, but I think we need it. I would love to go with all my friends to do all our leves together. If anything it could only help the community and player base of this game to have the sync.

If people stay in the same spot due to level sync it's their own stupidity and dullness. FF 14 isn't going to be as party heavy as 11, true fact!!! xD ... I'd rather spend time with my friends on a class I wanna work on and enjoy then be forced to work on something I don't need up :P As someone's mentioned to, you can equip cross skills at any rank so it's really no biggie lol Your character ap scales down, easy as that! Alot of people will still be exploring and ranking up in a multitude of places while some tards will rank to cap in starting area's, but that's their own pathetic dull nature and not something you need to follow if you don't want to due to 14 being more open than 11's need to party and such >.<
So why is it so important to say no to a level sync system when other peoples dumb actions don't effect you? :P ... Just saying LoL Level sync simply adds a more well rounded party (In regards to sp) and more time with friends ^^

I dont need party lvl sync atm, but i hope your "true fact" about this game not being party heavy changes soon its one of the biggest problems. If people stay in the same spot due to level sync it's their own stupidity and dullness. We appreciate the comments from both sides of the camps (along with the perceived positives and negatives), and as usual, I'll be sure to get your thoughts to the dev. team!

I don't have anything of value to add to the lvl sync conversation as we've thoroughly covered the subject. I just wanted to say thx to Bayohne, it's great to know that SE is listening to us![]()

This is a hard one. Level sync is great for playing with friends and ranking up jobs quickly. On the down side is that players will invariably want to party at the best camps which leads to overcompetition and fighting. Also, I saw too many players with jobs at cap that never went past the 37 east ronnie puk camp. Overall I think bringing level sync to 14 is a bad idea because of the last reasons.
Then it is up to SE to make sure that camps are more balanced in FFXIV than they were in FFXI. In all honesty if you level synced all the way to 75 in FFXI then you were stupid as you would have a worthless character and would have to spend a lot of time in skillup parties to get your skills up to their proper ranks.
