I enjoy going camp to camp once it was added to the game all i did was party at 37 and it's not like i could make my own party and go to the right camp. Everyone would just leave and make the party themself and go to the Ron (s). Once you do endgame events you saw many noobs without the needed skills.I know in FFXIV that does not matter but i guess it can work out in FFXIV better then it did in FFXI.

Seeing how we level by doing dungeon and quest and leve quest and not really party camp this may work out in ffxiv. But i wish it was never added to ffxi i never had issue looking for players only when a new game came out or it was sports week or something like that,.

Considering you can go from rank 1-15 within like 10-15 minutes, the levels sky-rocketing isn't an issue here. Honestly I wish 1-10 would take way more time than it does right now. 1-10 in this game seems more like levels 1-3 on any other MMO I've played.

    Anyway...

The reason people want Level Sync is because it helps you spend time with friends. It sucks when you have to play by yourself because your friends are able to play more often than you so they are super-level-capped on every class already. It isn't a game breaker. It was an awesome feature. Yes, in practice you would have people to would end up at a higher level with no higher partying experience, but that's the player's silly choice to over-abuse the system.

I understand the logic, but isn't easier to move to a new camp, than to find another lower level player to "sync" with... In XI they had it set to 10, so you couldn't sync with anyone lower then 10...

In this case, you get better rewards at higher levels, so that should be something that helps move players forward, and if someone wanted to always stay in the same zone, what harm is that to other players, or the game as a whole?

I think that being able to play with your friends, the way you want to play, should be the focus, rather then worry if some players use it to always fight in the same spot...

Thanks for clarifying your point, and I see where you are coming from... In my case, I swore off FFXI, never to look back, because as a white mage, one day (more then one day) I logged in and found that I waited around for two hours before getting a party... I tried starting one, I tried joining, but no luck... This was the straw that broke the back of the game for me... I released I could have done something other then shouting for parties all the time, and so I moved on... Level sync brought me back and thus I played FFXI until the day XIV came out...

Being able to play with my friends (we were all different levels) and being able to get into parties without having to worry about different xp issues was the best part of this system. I didn't like losing access to skills, but I did enjoy that I could just get into a party and enjoy my time...

Sure people would grab lower level players and sync to them, but that also added value to lower level players and in the end had a real positive effect on the game as a whole... Fields of Valor added to that enjoyment.

With FFXIV, I can see them adding in some benefits to moving to different camps, but being able to play with my friends and others who come into the game for the PS3 release or come back to see the game when it's "ready" if we don't have something like this, I feel there might be a huge disconnect between current players and new players...

But still, I can see your points and the negative parts of the system. Hopefully we'll get the best of both worlds.

Sorry, I'm pro-sync... I think you make a good point about how players might stay in the same spot, but I'm willing to take that chance...

I know it was like 5+ years before XI had the sync, but I think we need it. I would love to go with all my friends to do all our leves together. If anything it could only help the community and player base of this game to have the sync.

Leves encourage you to go to the next camp, increases gil, guild marks and items for example.

If people stay in the same spot due to level sync it's their own stupidity and dullness. FF 14 isn't going to be as party heavy as 11, true fact!!! xD ... I'd rather spend time with my friends on a class I wanna work on and enjoy then be forced to work on something I don't need up :P As someone's mentioned to, you can equip cross skills at any rank so it's really no biggie lol Your character ap scales down, easy as that! Alot of people will still be exploring and ranking up in a multitude of places while some tards will rank to cap in starting area's, but that's their own pathetic dull nature and not something you need to follow if you don't want to due to 14 being more open than 11's need to party and such >.<

So why is it so important to say no to a level sync system when other peoples dumb actions don't effect you? :P ... Just saying LoL Level sync simply adds a more well rounded party (In regards to sp) and more time with friends ^^

We appreciate the comments from both sides of the camps (along with the perceived positives and negatives), and as usual, I'll be sure to get your thoughts to the dev. team!
