    Its simple as it is. There was actually a Thread how you still can do, what you could do pre 1.19a and that is how i PL people. But to say it simple: Let your friends with their lower Ranks tag a Mob and then take em and kill em. Or cant you play with your friends when you are not in the same Party but staying right next to them and fight with them?
    If you enjoy that sort of thing, great. Many do not. And what if the higher level plays a class that isn't suited to power leveling? What if the players think that power leveling is cheesy and nothing more than a director supported exploit that saps the fun out of the game? What if the lower level wants to actually learn to play their class instead of being handed a level 50? What then?

    Considering I usually don't have the ability to wait the duration to get a group and then stay in it for a long enough time to gain levels that fast, Your argument doesn't work well for casual players.

    (Same with my friends, who have yet to even reach Lv25.)

    Again, It's kinda hard to PL them when I am only Lv34 LNC.
    It just makes for boring content w/o any challenge, that isn't quick enough to get them caught up.

    Your ONLY reason for "No level sync" is... "Because I said so!"

    or because "It will be taken advantage of!"
    yeah... because a Lv50 CNJ PLing a group is not currently breaking the leveling system?

    The ONLY argument that can LOGICALLY go against Lv sync, is the time/resources it would take from the Devs, that could be spent in other places.

    It does, I want level sync because I'm going to be playing with family and friends. We all have different work schedules, so some have more time to play than otheres. It wouldn't be cool if we couldn't play with each other because of level difference. No one wants to power level, baby sit, and no one want to feel like they are not contributing. Everyone can sync up and tackle the game together and not wait till everyone is max level, we want to get to the max level together.

    Well that depends on the Situation, no? If the "higher level" doesnt have a class, which could not PL, maybe some other friend will have? I mean this Thread is beeing really picky about things.. They want Level-sync for a "rare case". Even after the Game was released and through all my classes i ranked up, there were always people i could have level'd with. I just had it once, that i was above my friends and i simply waited for them. It is imo and out of my personal experience a really rare case.

    Exploiting is one thing, PL'ing is another thing. PL'ing was implemented with the personal Note from Yoshi himself, that he want have friends play together and beeing able to play together. The Exploit was different and got fixed in 1.19a.

    If people want to play their class and that is a system i personally prefer, then go out and rank up the "normal way". Start in this Zone -> then that Zone -> then over there -> then over here. At one point you and your friends will have a similiar Rank and can build a Static. Level-sync will lead to a way were people actually dont have to learn their class, when they can stay at a Rank1 Area up to Rank50 by switching out Mules for Level-sync. This happend A LOT in FFXI. This isnt FFXI i know, but in FFXI it was kind of a misplaced System.

    People can play however they want, but to be honest and like i said before. It does not make sense to me, when people tell me they cant play together, due certain circumstances. There is a System which works with PL's. There are "only" 50 Ranks which wont take long to get up ( in case someone have to wait till people caught up ). There are more than 1 Class which people could level up.. and so on and so on.

    I don't mind PL'ing at all but I would have more fun actually being in the party level synced and everyone contributing. It would also boost XP from enemies since you'd get the level range bonus.

    However if they release and focus on a substantial amount of long-term, high level content I could go without level sync easily.

    thats great for you. not everyone wants level sync i get that, but players do want it. players have different playstyles, and you cant make people play how you want them to play.

    level sync is much needed

    Levell Sync ? No thanks that's XI leave it there , If you want Levell Sync XI is still out there to play. We dont need it in this game thank you very much. Tis is Final Fantasy XIV learn new way's new Game and Adapt.

    level sync is not what made ffxi, level sync is just a mode. A mode that kept friends playing with each other. Level sync can be added to any game, its not an xi thing, xi just utilized it, its a SE thing just like jobs, chocobos, moogles, and even the races. Should we keep those in xi too?

    Chocobo's and Moogle's are Final Fantasy from Game 1 not just FFXI ;-) Level Sync was introduced for XI towards the end when they decided to Kill off the game. The point is, we have a from off levell Sync here ie levell 10 in party mixed with levell 18 lets say ,with respective xp to their levell's now. Any How Besides anything that is said on these pages, What Ever Se plan to do they will do regardless what is said here. We are only talking to our self because this function exist. SE is not reading any of this. This is just to make you think what is said carry any weight just to amuse our self ;-)

    sorry to burst your bubble but, Chocobos were first introduced in FFII, and Moogles were introduced in FFIII. Level sync was first introduced in FFXI because it was the first online game, and this is the second online game, so why cant it be introduced?. SE is known for carrying over things that were popular in previous titles.

    My point is, there is always a first for everything, and just because it wasnt there from the start (even tho it was, since xi was the first online installment), doesnt mean that it cant be implemented because moogles and chocobos wasnt there from the start.
