SMN Quests are really difficult after changes

I've done all SMN quests from level 30 to 70 with the new Titan-egi and I've had 0 problems, as well as other solo content with moderate/high difficulty.

As someone leveling SMN right now, can I ask how you handled lvl 60 and 63 job quests? I managed to handle 60 by a good 20min of kiting the enemy around a boulder and DoTing him to death. This strategy may not work on this next one (nor is it enjoyable) so I’m wondering what you did in order to better improve my strategy

Since you aren't talking about anything specific, there are many factors that could make you struggle, like a bad rotation, low level gear, not dodging AoE, not doing mechanics etc...

What's your rotation like? What ilvl are you? What is killing you?

63's Ifrit-egi is honestly just "come back later" or grab a friend. He hits way too hard for what you have available at 63 gear wise and will kill you from his auto attacks alone unless you just kite him around in a giant circle ruin 2ing or something. Which is not something you should be forced to do.

I was i260 something when I first tried it (lv 62 gear is 265, and HW tome gear is ~260 I think) and would get him down to just below half pretty regularly with garuda or ifrit and survived until about 25% of his hp with titan's shielding. Then decided to just come do it later since it doesn't unlock new skills and walking back was a pain. I'm not sure if the 66 fight is rough, I just waited til I was 70 and got a book off the market to do them all.
There was one other quest which gave me troubles but I was able to do it barely after a few tries and I can't recall which one it is.

To the guy saying the OP is just playing wrong or pulling too much, the 63 fights are just 2v1 and then 1v1. The fight was absolutely designed with titan-egi in mind. All the smn/arcanist quests before 70 were. Saying you didn't have a problem means nothing when the facts are the fight was designed a certain way and the changes to egi targetting messed with it.
