Try talking to other NiN who’s gonna use first TA.
The more skilled NiN can adapt and do TA later.

This wasn't really just about NIN but all jobs that have problems with abilities overwriting preventing them from doing their learned opener or rotation simply cause DF put them with the same job as them.
I main dnc on my alt and its easy to just look to see when the other dnc uses their buff. Same with ninja. If you don't want to actually talk to your other dncs or nins, just don't be trigger happy and pay the minimum amount of attn and you should be aok.
It's hilarious when we get 3 dnc in a duty like eden cause I sit back and shake my head as I watch the other 2 dncs both start the fight Technical step. I always wait a moment and sure enough, its never failed, whenever there is more than 1 of us, the other dnc immediately goes into tech step without hesitation, so I always just hold it.
Same can be applied to ninja. Seriously how is this so hard?
Some times them doing Technical Step doesn't show up on the party list because of how many buffs they have going.
For Trick Attack there is an option to only show debuffs you apply and some people might have that turned on to make their own debuffs easier to see / manage.
No but you can literally see 4 really bright and super flashy animations, its seriously hard to miss unless you have it set for everyone to just not display animations at all. Some times them doing Technical Step doesn't show up on the party list because of how many buffs they have going.

I have party animations on Show Few just so I can see floor bubbles so I can try to keep mobs or my self in them when I tank. Which is another good point btw. Thanks for mentioning that![]()
Even so you can see the actual animation for dnc at least even with the flashes shut off. If you are not someone who is overwhelmed easily its good to train yourself to be spacially aware instead of just haphazardly hitting buttons like you do on a mobile game. You can't blame the system because it works, its how the user is using the system, or not in some cases. You know what to watch out for, so watch for it.
Combat has already been reduced to a ridiculously simplistic system, especially with this expac we really don't need it simplified even more because a few ppl refuse to pay attn. It's not even a QoL thing, its just an "I don't want to have to look" thing. It may be great to a few, but dang if we keep this up we are just going to be hitting 1 button on repeat.
I'm always watching my hotbar for CDs / procs on DNC as well as boss mechanics that I need to dodge or position so I don't catch others in AoEs. I can't be trying to watch another player that could be anywhere on the field to see if they are doing dance animations that I don't even pay attention to on my character. Also how is another NIN going to see that the other NINs are doing hand signs for Suiton? You're camera would need to be super close for that. And what about Ranged and their Defense abilities? There's not hand signs or dance animations to let another Ranged know they are about to use that ability. Also rotations do eventually get to be muscle memory so your hands could already be going to hit a button right as you see a buff appear on the party bar. Oops can't cancel out of your dance or mudra combo... what are you going to do? Mess it up so you don't overwrite the other buff or use it so you don't waste it?Even so you can see the actual animation for dnc at least even with the flashes shut off. It would be 15% for as long as they overlap. Most classes have burst phases and having a stackable debuff would be less punishing than having an extended debuff in my opinion..
In both case, you'll lose some efficiency anyway (either the buff is so long everyone had time to do their burst phase and are now back to their standard rotation or you get a slightly bigger debuff to use your burst on..)
Problem with upgrading the buff (10% to 15%) is: what will be that debuff duration? It's easy to implement +10 seconds to TA, it's less clear how your proposal will work. What happens if NIN2 use his TA at the 9th second of NIN1's TA? Do we now get another 10 sec of a 15% debuff? Do we get 1 sec of 15%? Something in between?
If the second Ninja uses TA at the 9th second then there'd be 9 seconds of 10%, 1 second of 15% and another 9 seconds of 10%.
And they wouldn't be displayed as multiple debuff icons, it'd be one icon, with a 2/3 in the corner for as long as there's multiple stacks.

The overlap would effectively be .4 or less of a second. 15% for less than half second.. I really dno, lol. Perhaps other jobs have something more to write home about ?
I can't really speak for dnc yet but the camera isn't relevant when watching another nin's cast as all mudra sign animations are the same. In the event you are wondering what the other nin is going to do it you should have communicated who will trick first as it's clearly important to make the most of both tricks.
Mudra doesn't allow you to fail.. Each cast grants 5 seconds and then suiton lasts 20 seconds with a 1s forced CD between them. There is no reason to mess up. We are in ShB, so it's so much easier now. You don't even need to change your opener/rotation as the first application of trick should still give you enough time left on suiton to apply the second just as it's about to fall off. It's super easy. Nothing changes.
