It's annoying since these "harder alliance raids" can honestly be even shorter then some of the dungeons I've run.
I had a Dun Scaith run recently that only took around 22 minutes. Everyone was on point, little to no deaths, and extremely high optimization. Felt so much fun working with other people to see how quickly we can get through it.
I'd agree with at least increasing the exp earned on Dun Scaith and Orbonne as they do take longer then the other ones on a general basis. The amount of times people wipe on TG Cid due to one alliance not handling really simple mechanics is baffling.
So if we wipe like 5 times on a boss do we get more exp? What if we vote abandon after 15 minutes because we can't clear it, do we get exp too? This needs to be addressed too. I demand 5mil exp for vote abandonMy proposal is: keep the 3 CT raids as baseline exp, adjust the exp gained from level 60 and 70 raids based on how much more or less they take to clear on average compared to the 3 CT raids (Orbonne would give 2.5x exp for example)
Castrum Meridianium in Main Scenario should also be reviewed, while it shouldn't match Praetorium reward wise, it requires far more player input than Prae, which again is causing issues with people leaving the duty, or afking/going offline.
Right now people leave CM cuz Prae gives more exp, if they buff CM exp than it will be the other way.
Most of the time people put up with CM, but if they leave, it's because it doesn't give proportional exp.So if we wipe like 5 times on a boss do we get more exp? Prae takes 45m and gives 9-12m exp.
CM takes 30m and gives 4-6m exp.
That's not proportional. CM should give 6-9m exp instead.

I've had really fast Mhach and Void Ark runs (because theyre at that "absurdly easy if you dont wander off a platform" stage), but every Dun Scaith I've seen in the last year has 4-12 players getting the achievement for clearing it, and it goes... not well at all.I had a Dun Scaith run recently that only took around 22 minutes. Everyone was on point, little to no deaths, and extremely high optimization. Felt so much fun working with other people to see how quickly we can get through it.
Probably because you only get Dun Scaith when there's a load of newbies queuing for it. Otherwise, there's too many people forcing ilvl down to CT, and whenever a newbie queues for Dun Scaith and sees the >30m average wait, they just give up.

That's because of the same problem that Orbonne has. It doesn't come up randomly, so you only get it when enough newbies are in the queue at once to trigger it. If the system couldn't be gamed the way it can, the problem would go away.

I am one of those ppl who lowers their ilvl for this to get crystal tower. Simply because the xp from getting anything other than crystal tower raids is not worth it.
Its not a cheat, the game allows it completely for any roulette you choose, not just alliance roulette. But the xp does not scale properly for doing the higher level alliance raids

I had a discussion with about this with an FC mate the other day.
It all comes down to raid ilvl vs synced ilvl.
For example: LOTA is an ilvl 50 raid, and ST is an ilvl 70 raid and you are synced to 120 (might be 130). That is a massive spread (at least double the ilvl) and that allows you to just mow throw the place.
vs
Orbonne is an ilvl 350 raid and it syncs down to 400. That's only ~15% increase on the max from the base. Combine that with the fact that Orbonne bosses are massive HP sponges and THAT is why a raid like Orbonne is so frustratingly slow.
One of the responses was: Don't you think we'll be mowing through it in 6.0?
No. You'll be doing the EXACT same damage in the future as you are now because the ilvl sync will be the same.
It also comes down to time vs reward. Time invested vs reward given. And currently the reward for higher level raids simply isn't worth the time invested (to the community).
