Retention of Anima System!

Ah yes, I forgot to mention 'favored' places. That's a really good point. I tend to set them for instances that my LS does often. Before the last patch, it was Crimson Bark (for Moogle), Broken Water (for Ifrit) and Dragonhead (for SB). Now that everyone's doing Cutter's and Aurum Vale, I may dump Broken Water and Crimson Bark in lieu of those... etc.

Take away anima and you have an inconveniency of perhaps no more than 10 minutes added to get to your destination. What comes next? Make Airship rides longer? Make Chocobos slower?

Do you want this game to have a bigger player-base or not?

only reason they don't fix the problems with anima is cause they want to eventually sell mounts that run faster lol. other then that dont' want to make the content of raising faster choco's and faster gear on choco's irelevent maybe. but with that being said that just means they still plan on making things faster with a little cash or content.

everyone is bitching about anima because of the new quests, didn't hear much about it prior to the patch

I like being able to port myself at any time. But i would be open to WHM or BLM getting some teleport or warp spells like XI, while keeping amima.
