Remove the 2nd ring slot and roll the stats into Waist/Belt.

Waist equipment slot have always been in-between accessory and armor. But now that accessories have VIT, there's very little difference between the two.

So when SE touched on maybe removing the additional ring slot at this past Live Letter,

I thought it would be a good opportunity to make the waist more distinguishable by giving it higher stat weight and an additional Materia slot to make up the loss of the 2nd ring.

I prefer this idea to simply replacing the ring with another type of accessory. What are your guys thoughts?

Yep, I read that and I would urge to them to go a step further and remove belt as well.

As for a second accessory, have eyewear instead.

If they made belts visible again I'd say keep everything.

If anything was to be removed I'd say the belt. It doesn't even show up on your character.

Though the way rings work kind of irks me, that you need two rings but sets of gear come with one unique ring. I just don't get why they have unique rings.

Is it REALLY that big of a deal if someone has two Eden rings or something? It's not like WoW trinkets where being able to double stack some of them may be OP because they have powerful procs etc. It just slightly limits your ilvl by not letting you have two rings from whatever the current hightest set of gear you can access is.

Or... just put out two rings for ever iLevel going forward.

I'd rather they kept the ring since that is where I wear my Eternity Ring. I'm sure a lot of the married people use this slot.

Get rid of one ring, spread out the second ring's stats among all the other accessories
