GCD single target rotation is pretty much just Dragon Kick (side) -> Twin Snakes (side) -> Demolish (back)/Snap Punch (side) -> Bootshine (back) -> True Strike (back) -> Demolish (back)/Snap Punch (side).

That's it, you just use Demolish (back) if you need to refresh it, otherwise you Snap Punch (side). Form Shift is only there to help you start with Demolish or to help keep your Greased Lightning stacks up if you can't hit the boss for whatever reason. Just doing the combo automatically takes you through the 3 forms. Anatman (form pausing) is pretty useless atm outside of a specific opener, so it is not really used. Tornado Kick (which uses GL) is also pretty useless.
I mean I could say that about any job someone puts here lol. People who have problems with Mudra when I feel they're fine. Summoner rotation isn't that hard (lots of oGCD now though lol). :P Of course I do actually know why people have problems with it (at least subjectively), just that it could be an example of simplifying people's lack of clicking with a job to a "no you're wrong".

Thread is about what doesn't click and monk's mechanics don't click for me. Just reads as noise. That said I'm sure if I read guides or followed your tips it could be come less noise-y but that's also why I said I don't really care for the theme of monk so I have less interest to fix any misunderstandings I might have.

Like playing RTS and having to git gud by learning macros and some of the faster paced but not really that complex strategies to respond to the situation faster. Some days I'm just like "no thanks", not learning that as it's above my concern to enjoyment ratio (I ended up learning most of it though, playing SC/WC for years but it wasn't the first year that I cared lol). Which would be why monk is my lowest level, I don't want to play a job I feel like I'm playing poorly.

I was only replying to that other person because it seemed people couldn't fathom why monk was seen in such a way. Monk reads like metal to someone used to slow country, I think lol. But being a person who listens to metal and people just say it's noise of course I don't hear just noise but I can understand why to them it's close to just pure static .

So now you've added info on the class so I might just play it a bit more because I've accidentally learned the job lol (GREAT THANKS! ;P) but on the other hand my point on what you're responding to stands. I was making a subjective reason why it feels like noise and "no thanks", not an objective statement the monk is the hardest or whatever. Ninja hardest if your internet sucks, etc etc. Subjectively monk doesn't click and that was the whole point, since I was responding to someone who was having difficulty imagining why there was so much monk here. Monk is the metal to non-metal listeners (not saying everyone has the this/same issue with monk of course lol). If you listen to "metal" or learn to like it, monk I'm sure is easy and isn't actually that difficult and is just more intimidating than it really is - I could agree/imagine that's true.

Still.. Subjectively, the job doesn't click (yet- not saying it wont, especially if I'm reading tips on accident lol).
