    Feast Feedback (not skill/spells related)

Because of the upcoming, positively perceived, changes with the introduction of new skills, there won't be a skill feedback from the PvP community, as the gameplay could change a lot and balancing will be different again.

However, there are still a few points that we gathered that mainly include the general framework of Feast.
    • Chat in Feast
Consider using the 60s preparation time before a match to let people talk with each other. It is hard to give simple tips or advise at the moment.

    • Quickchat option for "Burst ready" and "Sorry"
"Hello" is being used as "Burst ready" by experienced players at the moment. It will be seen as toxic behavior by new players or lead to confusion, if they see players spamming "Hello".

Furthermore mistakes happen, implementing "Sorry" can be a nice way of apologizing. Matches and the discussion after it, can get heated. (Could be replaced for "Thank you" or "Nice Job" that are often used in sarcastic ways sadly. "Sorry" is less vulnerable to that outcome. Too avoid button bloat..)

    • Map Rotation in Solo Queue
Consider reintroducing old maps, Lichenweed and The Feasting Grounds for solo and training queue at least. Revamping those to be smaller(Feasting Grounds) or have different walls/obstacles (Lichenweed) would be necessary, because we now lack the sprint ability as a general skill. Just one very bright blue map for ages starts to get BOOORRRING. The same single map for Light Party Seasons and Tournaments could still be a thing, but let us have fun on different maps in solo and training mode please.

    • Disconnected players in Feast
If you disconnect in The Feast, you immediately drop all your medals, even if you reconnect swiftly, the enemy team most likely will have picked them up already. It would be better if only half of the medals could be picked up by the enemy team, and only all of them after some time. A tank that disconnects with 200 Medals can lead to instant lose.

    • HUD Medal Visibility
While the removal of Heavy and Light Medals was positively received by the community, it created a new problem. It is now harder to choose the right, valuable target. The medalcount after somebodys name is hardly recognizable in the heat of the battle. The overview bar is small and confusing as your team could be left or right side (you have to find the star first...etc.). Consider implementing icons behind a player name or in the bufflist of the player, that show if someone is holding many or few medals

    • Wolfmark Currency Cap
In the past, Wolfmark currency rewards in Frontline and The Feast were buffed by huge margins. The 20.000 Wolfmark cap still persists. With challenge log weekly entries and daily roulette frontline bonus it is reached fast, giving the nature of Feast (ending in 2-3min sometimes) it can be capped in just an hour or less if the queue is fast. Consider upgrading the Limit to 30.000 or 40.000 Wolfmarks or even higher.

    • Wolf Collar Items
Would be nice to see Dancer and Gunbreaker weapons aswell, as other new items for them. At the moment casual PvP Feast players would have to play 2-3 seasons to get one item. It would be better if there are small rewards for less collars than 10. On the other hand, veteran top10 pvp players have after 9 seasons with Wolf Collar rewards possibly every weapon by now. (where is the cerberus mount?)

To add to point one - not being able to give advice in Feast is harmful to the game and longetivity of the Feast community. New players either bang their head a brick wall and get carried to plat, but continuously frustrate others because they don't know how to improve and we can't blame them because they don't know any better. A majority of them are not aware resources and these forums exist and we can't tell them.

A counter point to the quick chat problem...you'd see a hell of a lot more flaming if normal chat was allowed. Last night the opposing team lost their tank at the beginning (he never came back), meaning it was 4v3, and we still lost (RDM got stunned into a double LB). None of them would focus on the same target (meaning all 3 of them were hitting different targets from each other) despite me hitting "Attacking Ranged DPS" a few times and putting the focus target thing up on the enemy BLM. I would have cussed them out in so many ways if regular chat was allowed, which is why I'm glad it's not there.

My biggest issue with the overview bar at the top of the screen is that it doesn't reverse direction if you get placed on the red team.

The default UI has your party list on the left side, and the enemy party list on the right - similarly the overview bar has the blue team on the left and the red team on the right. The issue is, if you get placed on the red team the overview bar does not reverse its display to match. It still puts the blue team on the left and the red team on the right. This means the information for each team is now on the opposite side of the screen to that team's party list, it makes it highly unintuitive and annoying to read in the heat of battle.

They might frankly be better off just finding a way to add medal information to the party list (maybe put it where TP bars used to be, to the right side, or to the left of the job icons) and delete the overview bar entirely. Medal counts are the only information it adds that the party list doesn't have, everything else it brings is just a lot of duplication and clutter.

This is why it is proposed during the 60s warmup, where you don't fight yet, but solely prepare. The chat mute would still persist during the match, where you are supposed to fight after all. So your scenario wouldn't have happened.
Be wary though that people can report you for harassment or griefing, just like outside PvP. It's not worth to lose an account because of it.

I know, but it's really hard when your team is just...stupid. Especially when you're the healer, at which point there's literally nothing you can do about it except either let somebody die so you can help kill something, or in the case of being unable to heal through the damage, just letting the loss happen.
