Me again. Really stuck, changing job back to Paladin?

I hope someone can help, I changed class to mine and smith for a while to relearn how. On equipping back my sword and shield i am now "Gladiator" not "Paladin" and my Sheltron ability is completely gone from actions and traits. I have googled and googled and cannot seem to find out what I done wrong. Any help would be appreciated then I can facepalm. Thanks

Note - I have no "job" tab in actions and traits.

You have to equip your job stone, as gladiator is the class that turns into the paladin job. The job stone is the bottom right slot of your character's gear, I believe.

The game will let you save several equipment sets to make changing jobs easier. On the character interface toward the top right there should be a plus button. Press it with your most up to date gear set, and it should ask if you want to register a job set. Press yes, and it will give you the option to quick-swap back to that set all at once. Then you can put on another set(like smith) and the same button will let you create a set for that too. You can currently have... i think 25 sets? A good number of them anyway.

Adding to Frizze's post above, aside of being a time-saver, you also really want to be using gearsets any time you change your class - because it automatically puts you in your gear for that class, rather than spontaneously de-equipping everything your new class can't wear.

The only time to change weapons through the armoury chest menu is when you're switching to a different weapon for the class you're currently using, which doesn't happen all that often.

Glad we could address your primary issue. Some further tidbits:

    1. The maximum number of gear sets you can create actually depends on how many different classes/jobs you have unlocked. It's a very large and generous number, though, allowing for extra sets for fashion and so forth.
    2. In addition to accessing the gear set list as described above, you can also drag a gear set from that window onto your hotbar to switch to that gear set with just a single click. Or if, by chance, you're like me and like typing and having less-cluttered hotbars, you can type /gs to get to the window directly.
