They could do wandering world bosses. Basically FATEs that move and drop fun things. Similar ideas are already in the game, they just need to be iterated on.
Odin comes close.

With the ability to free roam entire maps and with more interesting loot. I did say similar ideas were already in the game...
Huge, lethal enemies would be fun too. Not just the hunt kind, but something like Burning Crusade’s Fel Reavers.

Eh, the Fel Reaver was kinda lame, really. The only danger was "get out of the way" and there was no particular risk involved. If you got in front of it, you got squashed, unless you outleveled it.
It was pretty fun to kite it into town and watch it play with the guards, though. Saw someone drag it all the way to Shattrath once, that was hilarious.

I do wish we had actual world PvP ,or more PvP interactions. Where people could get jumped doing content and stuff, but that's just not how this game is, and will never be; the PvP sucks here. Nor does PvP on the scale I would want ever last. Classic WoW phase 2 will be great for this though - for a time. Risk involving losing gear or progress? Yeah, I don't want that at all. That would suck. Especially dying to lag or some trash. It wouldn't work anyway the way this game works. Best we would get would be like eureka, or deep dungeons; only lose progress for those instances.

Sitting on your ass in front of PC thirty hours a week eating chips and drinking mountain dew .. I mean.. it's just a health risk but it's a risk. This game is pretty safe content wise. Is there a way we couldd introduce bigger content with higher risk? You would gain a better reward. I dunno, I find doing content sometimes has no real value because there is no real risk to it, just spam it and BOOM.
I wonder if it's possible without the care bears getting to upset.

More like 110 hours a week. Except I don't eat chips often, or drink any kind of soda. Just unsweet tea and water. Soda is nasty and has a bad aftertaste.![]()

Nope. Euerka did just that. Added risk and giving players everything they wanted in the open world and look how THAT turned out. People don't actually want hard content most of the times. They just want gates to keep others OUT. Mind you I'm talking about the people who don't actually DO the hard stufff like Euerka, savage and ultimate. The people who scream too easy but the only thing they do is dungeons. Those are the people I'm talking about.

Eureka isn't hard, it's just excessively tedious. The only challenge is whether you fall asleep from boredom grinding mobs or get eaten by a dragon while trying to get to something else.Nope.
