I do that, and i still get hit. i still slide across the floor dead, as when the eruption goes off (on my screen) i am well outside of the range of it... if you do that and it doesn't hit you, then i'm happy it works for you, but a blanket statement that it'll work for everyone isn't accurate. I have to be very careful and on some particularly bad days i'll have to run early, and ya... that leads to problems with plumes, but those have bigger safe spots to play with lol
