A lot of games have offered a vote to skip feature in video games. Has this option be suggested? Seems like an easy fix of there's a "Vote To Skip Cutscene" option..

and those who dare to vote no will be kick out of the party till someone who willing to vote yes to fill up the space
It is how it is, maybe not from your fault but ppl didnt care for new players, so they got what they deseved, the reward is high for the time spent, if its shorter it gets cut. If you dont like it, dont run it. No ifs and buts.
I get you not being able to skip the cutcenes with new players doing them but SRYLY every time .... hell no....... i am not doing them anymore
lets see how it benifits new players when ppl start getting feed up and not doing older content becouse of stuff like this

If you dont like it OP dont do it. Don't do it, then piss and moan about it and then say it needs to change. Just dont bloody do it.I get your argument, but even when i did it the first time it was a really bad experience, the worst thing is that the cut-scene start mid fight, or you run 10 meters and another cut-scene starts, they last about 4 or 5 times as long as the actual fights and it feels like it breaks the entire flow of the game.
It's like you have 5 minutes of gameplay and 20 minutes of cutscenes.
People just rush through not killing anything and the new players are left behind not understanding whats going on, i even died because i didn't understand everyone was using a teleporter not killing any trash on the way.
Those bad guys just keep talking and talking and then they just die super easily, without any challenge before you even see what they do, they are dead already, Especially Nero is the worst.
It just creates a really pathetic presentation of the "finale" of this arc.
I think the whole thing needs a rework, it is just not enjoyable content, new player or not, the amount of exp you get as compensation doesn't change that problem.
This... so much this.

"Sometimes I wonder I heal for fun. or if I heal because I'm a glutton for punishment."

except people still do. just because you dont doesnt mean a majority wont.

unskippable for many years, since they up the reward, i never queue longer than 10 minutes, and you are welcome to not queue it, enjoy

Just rework these 2 Dungeons into single player instances. First timers wont mind the scenes and it would feel much more epic for them to solo the ultima weapon.

Welcome to the group that i think(but have no actual idea of the stats) includes most of us. I have run this roulette precisely 0 times since the change was made ages ago to forced cutscenes. If a friend new to the game asks me to bring them through the instance unsynced i will(and have for 2 friends), but otherwise i stay as far away from there as possible. As to your question/point Elorum of what happens to new players when veterans dont run this type of content, the answer is nothing happens. The devs track how many people que for this(and all the others) roulette, and if they feel that the number has gone down too much and the experience is suffering for newer players then theyll tweak the rewards for the roulette to try and attract more ques. At this point i think theyve upped the reward 3 times, and the current level has been steady for more then a year indicating that they probly found some point of relative equilibrium. So you and me get to be happy not to have to run this, and the people satisfied with the exp and tomes get their reward.
