Hey Viera and Hrothgar players!

It does bother me that I wouldn't be able to use my hard earned exclusive hairstyles, sooo I'm just playing Viera on my alt which is enough.

Went back to Lala for a while because I enjoy the novelty of playing the race sometimes.

Came back to Viera because they're just godsdamned gorgeous. I do miss some of my earned hairstyles, though, but I don't see myself Fantasia'ing back at all any time soon. I really feel that they are, hands down, the best looking race.

I'm very disappointed with both races, but more so in particular with Viera.

I've been waiting to make a Viera since they were on the survey Yoshi initially sent out back in 1.x. Huge bummer to see they're not finished and there doesn't seem to be priority in finishing them. They're beautiful, but very sad about the state they're in. If they fit all helms / add all hair, I'll switch back; otherwise, huge wasted opportunity imo.

Sorry Yoshi, you all really dropped the ball on this one.

I really like their facial animations and during msq scenes their smile is just golden but the hair is a massive issue when you dont see your character from the front as it causes the clipping issues.

I used my l50 msq fantasia initally to go miqo but then missed my tigerboyo and went back to my hrothgar appearance i had previously saved but i meant for to change the long mane to the braided one and forgot about it till it was done.
One immediate ticket after logging in later i got told to just go buy another fantasia *sigh*

Wish there was an easier solution cause i really wanna like hroth. :/

I don't mind the lack of options. Switched to bun as soon as it was possible after being a career long Female Elezen. Viera is a refined, better animations/run Fem elezen, I couldn't be happier. I have a lack of hair and hat options? well, it blows but I don't run like a piece of plywood sprouted legs, so I'm happy AF as Viera. ill be patient for all the other options, I'm in no rush

While the lack of hair is somewhat disappointing, it's really not much of an issue for me.
As a Mooncat, there was only one hairstyle I liked anyway, so all those choices meant nothing to me. And of course, I never changed my hair as a catboy either.
Now I'm a Hrothgar, I've chosen the style I prefer the most. Could there be another style I'd prefer more if I had access to it? Sure, maybe, but same could be said of Miqote.

The main issue is hats. The only thing I'm really missing is a proper BLM hat.

I love being Hrothgar, they are just so awesome and animated. I don't mind the lack of hair and head pieces. Do I feel maybe SE should have focused on ONE race and done it very well--yes. But then it would probably be Viera and I wouldn't have my big cat.
