    Speaking as someone from that mentality, it's a product of immaturity and an easy target to gang up on and bully because such and such's cool friend was pointing and laughing first.

    Though to this day I have mixed feelings because despite enjoying RP, it makes me cringe when seeing people who paid for a sub+jump potion just to stand around the Quicksands and treat XIV like Second Life.

    I tried Second Life once... It definitely was not what I expected it to be and left there in record time.
