I've always liked the changes to PvP for a simplified hotbar. I enjoy knowing where all my buttons are in an easy to remember even in panic situations format instead of staring at my hotbar for cooldowns. The situational awareness with decreased tunnel vision is great. I like the environment even if Shatter sometimes trips me up with routes around enemy lines.

What I don't like?

3v3

Especially in 24 man vs 72. With 72, it's a mess, but a fun one. The swarming back and forth is really cool and reminds me of old, tactical games I used to play. But I don't like having to deal with 12/24 facetious people who will trample on your win because they have no hope. Yes I'm salty.

I think something akin to Shatter but only with 2 teams would be more interesting than the ever unplayed modes with 20 heaping mechanics and factors. Something simple, see how it plays out. Protect the [thing] at each team's base, a deadlier form of footbal/soccer/basketball in which someone has to deliver X to Y. I'm no game designer, but I would like to see concepts apparent in other games but in XIV fashion. Simple doesn't have to mean easy either, but fun. I really don't think 3v3 is fun.
