LS bank

I make several hundreds of the actual gear I create... If someone desperately needs one of those items, they can ask. This game forces you to create several hundred pieces of gear. Would just cause people to ask for constant expansions of the bank as well. Everyone in my linkshell uses the same materials and is not very willing to look out for the commonweal because crafters are all grinding on the exact same items for rank ups.

This game does not force you to make several hundred pieces of gear, only you do. My LS is very different from yours. We are all working on different things. And if it so happens that we would be working on the same thing, doesn't mean we do it all the same way. When I was working on goldsmithing I would only use silver ingots to make silver goblets because, even though that item does not have a use as of yet, I believe it will be used for culinarian in the future, which is another craft of mine. My other two friends would make silver needles and etc. It was easy because we were all ranking up the craft at the same time but using different materials. There is more than one way to rank up a class, and the game does NOT force you to do anything like that.


Edit: I'm a much different crafter than the people that choose to craft only for the most sp. My way is more difficult, but also can be more rewarding. It also allows me to rank up my crafts while assisting others with their own. Not all crafters are the same and ranking up their crafts on the same items.

Exactly, who is going to put iron ore, silver, gold ore etc. into an LS bank when half the server needs them? Either you're skilling up on them, you sell them for profit so you can afford things you need or you'd put them in that LS bank where they'd be all taken by one person who sits there waiting for it. If they want ores they can grab a pickaxe and go get it, not expect others to go get it for them for free.

I prefer self sufficiency anyway and it's why I'm ranking up multiple crafts. I hate relying on others or having to beg people for synths even if it's people in my own LS. So I'm against LS banks in the context being asked here. LS banks should be for raid items only. The place you put your Dodore doublets and scimitars until someone with enough DKP wants one.

Are you upset because it's something that could be implemented that wouldn't help you because you choose not to use it?

LS / Company guild bank , im for it.
With options to set how much/many items a member can take out daily etc.

Unlock / Lock gil loan. (for repairs maybe etc)

Bank tabs, to sort & rearrange items. (hellz ya just steal WoWs idea, no one will care anyway. Not like they got copyright on storage & banking anyway)

I'd like a bank, on one condition.

If the ls is disbanded, the money in the bank is either A)distributed evenly amoung all members.
B) confiscated to prevent making off with ill gotten gains.
