When someone becomes a mentor, they must sacrifice precious time dedicated to running organized play events to assist strangers who are new to the game, may not have the same exact advancement goals in mind, and may not even play the game beyond just the trial period.

Don't become a mentor or don't wear the crown if you don't want.
We need only the mentors willing to help not the ones willing to help until they get their shinies.
