What do you look for in your FC when you consider joining a new one?

My work schedule alternates every two months between days/nights. So I look for active members at all times of the day. I don't want to be the only member on when I am staying up the night before a night shift. Outside of this, I look for helpful members and an open minded chat. No butt hurt snowflakes that take offense to anything and everything, and no off the handle every other word is an expletive. Somewhere in the middle where you can have normal conversations about every day life and joke around with others.

Number of members
If "too much" (40+), I fear to end up as just as a number, so I'd prefer smaller FCs;

Currently we're sitting at ~200 members. Granted not all of them are active all the time, but usually we have 50-60 people online during peaktime. As long as you participate in fc chat and activities it's fine, you get to know people and they get to know you. Making a name for yourself where people ask you specifically is you want to join their XY party eventhough 30 other choices are available feels good. You have to be active tho, if you just sit somewhere on your own and never say a word people won't know who you are of course.
